1. what is the least amount of flavoring to add if their is NO recommended ratio. some of the flavorings i see say nothing at all. i am not sure what brands they are as i was just looking but i think they were from flavor art or something.

2. how do i add more flavor if need be to an already mixed juice. say if i added idk 50/50 vg/pg and 5% flavoring to a 30ML batch and it is weak. wouldn't adding more flavoring basically dilute the other liquid as well as the nic?

3. what amount of flavoring should a newbie buy? i was told 125ml is too much if i don't know what flavors are good.

4. what does 5% mean? i am assuming it means 5% flavoring to bottle size? so 30mL = 1.5ml of flavoring which is 5%.

hi Jacob. Flavor Art is one of the more concentrated flavorings. I have this link for info on them :HIC's "My notes on"

for tfa : Flavor Percentage Recommendations

What I recommend is to find a few recipes you like or think you will like BEFORE ordering flavors. Go back to the main DIY page : DIY E-Liquid and look at the top bar/ e liquid recipes and see the post I added on the E liquid recipe book, it's the last one and you can find lots of web pages with recipes to find something you will like.

Most recipes are in percentages, use a juice calculator to figure out how much you put in a recipe :
eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator <--download I use
DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors Plus PG/VG Adjusting <---online

checked it out but doesn't seem to have single flavor recipes. I am mainly confused atm on what percentage means when it comes down to flavorings. I'm looking at a 30vg/70 PG blend single flavorings and the site I bought my stuff at says 5% testing. so basically if I am making say a 30ml bottle does that mean I need to use 5% of 30ml?

on the far right in ejuicmeup you will have ml and drops so put 5% in the number one flavor box and hit calculate and then look at your ml amount to add or drops on the far right.
Are you using drops or a syringe

I am using a syringe but when I did 5% it just calculated 1.5ml out of 30ml which is basically 5% drop wise it said something like 45 drops. other then that I think I am set on juices as far as single flavoring diy's go will have to tweak it of course and read up on steeping and breathing for ethoyle alcohol if I recall correctly not sure if my flavors have it will have to double check later today. trying to stay away from pre built recipes I kind of want to learn myself on that part and tweak it but that's later down the road when I get more experienced

I feel the same way about trying to copy a ready to go recipe. I'm just starting out as well. After making a couple batches of unvapable garbage, I tried a few others mixes. Not only did it give me something I could vape, but also more understanding of how and why the flavorings and additives work together. Don't stray away from experimenting, but making something where you have to pay attention and get it right or it sucks, is a great way to learn. JMHO

so far I'm sticking with 2 flavors I have heard ONLY great reviews well 3 but the last one I'm unsure of it's milk chocolate. I'm sure I will vape it even if it tastes like crap I mean that's what I have been doing for the past month now. I am down to only 1 flavor I enjoy the rest is all garbage or last resort juices.it doesn't help that the bottles don't say what blends they are am thinking primarily VG

Man, that is hardcore bro, just vape up whatever is left. Man if I did that I'd be sick as a dog. I've got year old juices that are like 24 nic 60/40. I used that stuff in all the starter gear. If I started to go through that in todays stuff, oh god, I'd be dead! lol

I will say doing that kind of thing makes whatever we mix up taste like heaven.....Bravo
