Please welcome a number of the more experienced flavoring students you will meet here on ECF.

I have seen these people all over ECF with likes and dislikes of vendors far and wide. For your enjoyment - and to the detriment of your wallet - may I welcome you to: FlavorJunkies!

ETA: Thank you FranC for the name :)

While not much of a flavor-student myself, I've had some experience with ECX (E-CigExpress) and VZ (vaping Zone's) super-concentrated flavoring line.

To date, my favorites are: RealCig and Honey flu cured (both listed on VZ, the latter commonly referred to as HFC).

The ECX equivalent of RealCig is claimed to be MLB (abbreviated as such on the site, but clearly short for Marlboro), though I think there's something missing from the ECX version, specifically, perhaps a couple drops of "tobacco Express tobacco Additive" (ECX TA).

I've had this flavor from both sites and the ECX version seems to be missing (to me) a little bit of that special something that is added by this ECX TA. If you've had it in your flavor cabinet (or whatever) for a little bit, and take a whiff of the bottle, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's a sort of heavy smell. Hay-ish, and heavy at the same time, but oh, so satisfying. Something you MUST smell to understand.

Note: please spell out any new abbreviations at first introduction, thanks :)

Yeah!!! Never thought I'd be so happy to be a junkie!

I never realized when I started this adventure called DIYing your juice how this flavor buying would go. Silly me thought that would be the cheap part....lol but really its fun and hard to resist chasing down a new flavor to add to your arsenal. To say I take it to the extreme like many of you is an understatement. Glad for the company :toast:

Yeah FA I never had much luck with either except for Dark Vapure, Mellow and Black Fire. To me some of them are just not very tobacco-ish. You might want to try the super concentrated wolcen mentioned if you haven't allready.

I do like the Cuban Supreme and Latakia I have, but you have to use them at very low %. Like 1%...maybe even less. The FA (Flauvor art) are SO strong.

The list of card-munching sites begins to grow!

Now we have:
E-CigExpress (ECX) - Hangseng, Tobacco Express (TE), Fruit Express (FE), Hangseng, Natures Flavors, Flavour Art, and many more
Vaping Zone (ZV) - Hangseng, Super-concentrated, and VZ-SC Gourmet lines
Most recently, the NET's (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) at My Vape Juice
Wizard Labs (WL) for The perfumers apprentice (TPA), LorAnns (LA), and Seedmans flavorings as it's a great place to buy $1.49 8ml samples. These are not the newer flavors receiving rave reviews, but long established flavors that are being revisited for their use in cleaner nic bases.
High Desert Vapes NF, TPA, and others (also another source of WL nic)
DIYjuice.com for smaller samples of Flavorwest.

Your flavors aren't gonna be worth squat without a good base to put it in. Here are a few (certainly not the only) places to get some nic that it seems most enjoy for one reason or another:
E-Cig Express (pricey, but reported clean)
Vaping Zone (same/similar reviews to ECX)
My Freedom Smokes (sounds good if you like your nice to have a nice 'bite')
RTS Vapes (overall good I think - seems to be popular for bakery flavors)
Wizard Labs my personal favorite, though they are out of my preferred WL Ice which is a tabula-rasa, WL Reg has some 'bite' and a little bit of nic flavor)
NicVape (no experience with them, but I've heard they are good)
BoxElder (prior % nic consistency issues, but reportedly has their act together and reportedly has a strong 'bite' also)

Any possibility you could describe the two I'm interested in? Dark Vapure and Black Fire that is. Do you use them alone, or as bases for other things?

I can't wait to get my order from myvapejuice.com for those NET tobacco flavorings. Vanilla spongecake and Yuco from VZ Gourmet line is really on my wish list too---if anybody has that one or any of the Gourmet would really love to hear what you thought of them.

High Desert Vapes is another place I shop at on occasion in addition to those you mentioned. I also went to DIYjuice.com for smaller samples of Flavorwest.

Oh - and a favorite accessory of the group seems to be: the "Norpro Cordless Mini Mixer, 5 Piece Set" available on Amazon for under $6 (plus shipping if you don't have Prime). Funny how we avoid oxidation of our base, but seem to encourage it once there's flavor in the mix :)

That is funny isn't it!?! They do look nice to use, and cheap too, I guess a little whirl for a few minutes isn't any worse than airing out juices and shaking them up with fresh air in each time. Plus, it's done mainly on day one, but I agree, I wondered the same when I started seeing the discussions on those.

Have to get me one though, looks much better than trying to shake a bottle to death after mixing! :D

@ Shilo, I'm about to trya few FW flavors from DIY. Have you tasted their Absinthe yet, how about Dragon Fruit or the Creamy Nut Delight?

Dark Vapure is perfectly fine on its own I have added a few things to jazz it up a little. To me after steeping it is a nice mild to medium strength tobacco with a cocoa to chocolate undertone--not as grassy as some of the others-- a nice smooth vape. Lately when I make it I sneak in little extras in low amounts like Raisin and cinnamon for example for just for a variation.

Black Fire is what I call that perfect additive to any other tobacco blend---gives you that smokey campfire undertone---very low percentage or it gets bacony. Love the smell. I have heard of a DIYer I know vaping it straight but only one...lol I imagine its similar to TFA Hickory which I'm interested in as well.

I ordered a 2nd order from them which includes Creamy Nut Delight and Smores too among a few others---have to look my order up! One thing I like about the site is it has further multiple combos not on the flavorwest site and it describes the flavors I am not sure of better which is helpful. We will have to compare notes! lol
