Prepare to hold onto your wallets!!!

My vape juice DIY NET is just so awesome. One thing that I loved about them was the disclaimer on the right side of their page:

MyVapeJuice.com uses only the highest grade ingredients in our products.

We only purchase certified tested nicotine

**For inhalation safety reasons none of our e-liquids contain Diacetyl

We custom mix our juice to your order specifications. We recommend a minimum seven (7) day steep time for all our juices, so you may experience the best flavor! To steep: Put in dark place for two days with cover off and shake each day. On third day replace cover and continue to shake each day.

A vendor that is very upfront with their products and especially addressing Diacetyl. Which some DIY are not fond of having in their juice. Plus I didnt have to write an email to the freaking president to find out. You know what else was very cool of them? The packaging! ... Hmmh

Making an extra effort to be green is always a plus in my book. Not only that but they sent me a baggy with some labels for my mixes and a dripper. Not sure what else to call it but you can see what it is here:

Ive always wondered why DIY suppliers haven't done this before? Great idea MVJ ! They are great labels too and the ink doesn't easily smudge. Was more than happy to use them. The bottles are really good to and they have that dripper that doesn't allow you to over drip. Attention to detail is spot on for me and I haven't even vaped the juice at that point. It did make me really excited to try their stuff. The juice itself is dark because it is a NET and most extractions tend to be very dark. You can see how dark the flavorings are here. When mixed its dark but more like a light amber color. Not sure if these are atty cloggers at this point. Frankly I don't care because with RBA's advancing all ya need to do is maybe do a dry burn or two after a wash and you should be good.

How is it ? Its freaking incredible and I hope I can even last 7 days let alone try to get them to steep a month. Im to the point I may end up just mixing 80 ml batches of this stuff. The ry4 is insane and the rum raisin is spot on. The tobacco base of these are so big and bold. Each tobacco is very well chosen with the other flavors they use. The Ry4 is just so insanely balanced and probably has the best tasting caramel I have had. I got 6 more flavors that Im ready to pull the trigger on as well. I will stop waving my fanboy flag for now until others have had the chance to try and chime in as well. You all know it really takes a lot to impress me and color me impressed.

I ordered a 2nd order from them which includes Creamy Nut Delight and Smores too among a few others---have to look my order up! One thing I like about the site is it has further multiple combos not on the flavorwest site and it describes the flavors I am not sure of better which is helpful. We will have to compare notes! lol

Cool, let me know how you like the Creamy Nut once you've had a chance to try it out. I haven't ordered just yet, waiting for a few more bucks to spare, so I don't have to order twice initially. Should be this week sometime though, I'm getting the buttermint and snowflake too, and some Absinthe as well. I need to order some FA anise, plan to try and make something similar to MBV White Out (Love it)

You're right, I noticed that too about additional flavors, that and the smaller sample sizes + flat rate $2.85 shipping drew me right in :)

Can't wait to hear about that Creamy Nut, I love Crossroads Vanilla Nut and was hoping I might be able to make a good nutty flavor like that as I simply can't afford to buy as much of his Vanilla Nut that I would need to keep up with my habit, even if I wanted too :D

That's awesome Towekneee, thanks for sharing! I'm hoping to try some of their flavors soon too!

So cool and funny with the popcorn, maybe we can request light butter and salt too :D

Hey Wolcen Great idea. I've been trying to get ideas, new ones like crazy. This'll help a lot. And what do you mean by "bite" when you listed base sources, ex: My Freedom Smokes etc

Good question. Could be throat hit, could be "pepper". I'll defer to Jimi D, Cyrus Vap, and possibly Kurt (should he make an appearance) and others for more on that.

Generally speaking, I think of it as more of both these qualities, as well as more "nic flavor". Whether one calls that "tobacco", "nic", "fish/dry seaweed" (as I do), "alkaline", or whatever flavor, remains to be discussed I think, but there's more of something in the base that makes it stand up and be noticed. I think the ECX, VZ, WLIce, and possibly RTS take more of a background (with varying degrees of TH) while the other three are more noticeable.

I've not had all of those bases myself, but have read a bit about them. I've personally had RTS (in 2011 and I'm evaluating some from 12/28/12), Good Prophets, and WL Reg/Utra Pure/and Ice.

So far, I've found WL Reg and Good Prophets to have a good bit of flavor and bite (more so with GP, but what I have is older), while WL Ice, Ultra Pure and RTS are pretty minimal. I believe both Ultra Pure and RTS however I personally have issues with. The RTS issues I'll hold back on discussing until I compare it to something I know/have used for extended periods, but the Ultra Pure gave me an acidy-stomach feeling at very high-mg's (>=30mg where my norm is around 20mg). Ice I had no such issue with at high-mgs.

:)

I usually use "mainly" Capella's (especially their Peanut Butter and Marshmallow), and some FlavorWest flavoring.

I've been thinking about trying some DIY flavors from: Myvapejuice.com and/or from BlueMist.

Has anyone tried Bluemist? Any comments on their juice and their DIY flavors?

Just wondering ... :)

The list of card-munching sites begins to grow!

Now we have:
E-CigExpress (ECX) - Hangseng, Tobacco Express (TE), Fruit Express (FE), Hangseng, Natures Flavors, Flavour Art, and many more
Vaping Zone (ZV) - Hangseng, Super-concentrated, and VZ-SC Gourmet lines
Most recently, the NET's (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) at My Vape Juice
Wizard Labs (WL) for The perfumers apprentice (TPA), LorAnns (LA), and Seedmans flavorings as it's a great place to buy $1.49 8ml samples. These are not the newer flavors receiving rave reviews, but long established flavors that are being revisited for their use in cleaner nic bases.
High Desert Vapes NF, TPA, and others (also another source of WL nic)
DIYjuice.com for smaller samples of Flavorwest.

Your flavors aren't gonna be worth squat without a good base to put it in. Here are a few (certainly not the only) places to get some nic that it seems most enjoy for one reason or another:
E-Cig Express (pricey, but reported clean)
Vaping Zone (same/similar reviews to ECX)
My Freedom Smokes (sounds good if you like your nice to have a nice 'bite')
RTS Vapes (overall good I think - seems to be popular for bakery flavors)
Wizard Labs my personal favorite, though they are out of my preferred WL Ice which is a tabula-rasa, WL Reg has some 'bite' and a little bit of nic flavor)
NicVape (no experience with them, but I've heard they are good)
BoxElder (prior % nic consistency issues, but reportedly has their act together and reportedly has a strong 'bite' also)

Nice thread, I think ECX needs a footnote about subpar packaging of their nic base until they get it lined out.

I buy all my Flavour Art here...20% off permanent coupon, insanely fast shipping. They also have TPA, PG/VG, and unflavored, but haven't bought any...I get all of that from Wizard Labs.

E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings

I'd say $2.55-2.63 is a pretty nice price for 10ml of FlavourArt - good one.

My WL Ice came in today. This order's sample flavor was Dragon Fruit - smells yummy! Pretty sure I'll really like that one. Also got Key Lime (smells very good too) and Holiday Spice (AAk! Woah...not sure WHAT to think - strange stuff!)

Yeah !! Flavor Junkies ! I love it ! This thread has already taken off like a rocket. Nice job Wolcen.

I think that's just the case because it had a great launch pad where all you flavor fanatics were already chatting up a storm about everything under the sun. It's an outstanding thread with a LOT of knowledge dumped in it (it's over here: ECX Flavoring). I just started the thread with Shilo's idea and FranC's name; it's a community project, not 'mine' in any regard, and I hope we all have some good times here :toast:

Now that I see a number of you have made it over this way, a warning for the rest of you: hide your credit cards if you decide to stick around! :D

(PS - Jimi loves almost everything! He's our resident 'Mikey' [ya know, he likes it?] Watch out! ;))

Well just got first order of flavors in, 60+ from ECX, ordered them Friday afternoon! Not only did it get cross country really fast, it was in a box and not the bubble mailer. The link I posted earlier was somebody else's and a few others said they received similar packing. I think they must have got the message about the packaging. I'm glad, because if they kept doing it the same this would have been my last order with them. I'm 100% satisfied with my order, now to drive myself crazy with this DIY thing. So far all I've done have been from extracts I've made. Wish me luck.
