Your flavors aren't gonna be worth squat without a good base to put it in. Here are a few (certainly not the only) places to get some nic that it seems most enjoy for one reason or another:
E-Cig Express (pricey, but reported clean)
Vaping Zone (same/similar reviews to ECX)
My Freedom Smokes (sounds good if you like your nice to have a nice 'bite')
RTS Vapes (overall good I think - seems to be popular for bakery flavors)
Wizard Labs my personal favorite, though they are out of my preferred WL Ice which is a tabula-rasa, WL Reg has some 'bite' and a little bit of nic flavor)
NicVape (no experience with them, but I've heard they are good)
BoxElder (prior % nic consistency issues, but reportedly has their act together and reportedly has a strong 'bite' also)

what do you mean by "bite"? does that mean more of a TH? (i hope so )

There is no menthol or tobacco to it, as far as I can tell. I ordered "Hypnotic Mist" from Delightful Vapors as a sample. It vaped, to me, precisely as my4jewels describes it below. I really did like the DV version, but I don't know if they added anything to it at all. My impression of the DV version was that it seemed like vaping fresh spring air, almost an air freshener (but in a good way, not a chemical way).

I absolutely love TPA Hpno Type. I flavor at 18-20% because I like strong flavors. It's kina citrusy/fruity/tropical, light with a punch, slightly effervescent, and sweet...

...I am beginning to wonder if the WL Nic is giving me issues. I've been using their regular and Ice the past month or so and have been getting sore throats and extreme dryness despite drinking over a gallon of water a day. I freak out if I don't have my Brita squeeze bottle in one hand. Probably nothing to do with WL nic but for the heck of it I have some ECX incoming (if it ever leaves that post office) and I'll also order some from VZ to try. Anyone have any issues with one brand over another besides taste differences?

I have an ECX order at that PO too - for a couple of days now - crossing fingers for both of us. Regarding nic issues, I don't have enough experience yet. BUT you could check out the Nic Comparison thread, where it seemed a few folks did have adverse reactions to specific "brands" of nic. I think some people mean a pepperiness to the nic, which is percieved as more TH. There is quite a lot of discussion in the Nic Comparison thread linked above.

Did you happen to purchase Spicy Summer Breeze? I just asked for a flavor description on her thread. I'm not much of a tobacco vaper, but some of the other flavors sound interesting.

Edit: Diane replied that SSB is cinnamon, pear, and other flavors...complex but balanced. May have to order some from her...and another goes on the list.

That's cool. I steep some stuff. I like instant coffee (folgers) and usually let it steep a good 30-45 seconds before I drink it. I'm too impatient to wait any longer.

I steep all tobaccos. I mix well ahead on our regular flavors, I have about 25 bottles steeping now.

Ok. Got one last bottle nic in glass from vapingzone because they just sent me the ad for 10% off liquid and tried their gourmet amaretto flavor.. Then did 9 flavors from the flavors Apprentice in 15 ml. So I am soooo done with this stockpiling thing. G D effing FDA creepy darn world. I'm going to kick back and lurk the DIY posts a LOT and DIY until next Winter. Hopefully I'll have a half dozen kick .... recipes for my chosen category to work with for those that want throat hit that doesn't leave sore throat and medium strong flavors that can carto/tank better than average ( even though that's not my 1st choice delivery method any more) since I'm finally doing bottom feeding and RBA. If I don't see you in RBA and hardware sites Or around I'll see next Winter when I stay in. Horsin around season is right here now and I've got some big plans....probably the last of the big push and then just settle in and enjoy my 10 year learning until I'm too old to ride or mare gets too old. I mixed a straight flavor nic juice at 10% of both Hypnotic Mist and Hypno tonight just to see what they will end up like. I don't have the NorPro mixer, but I am trying to power steep them with my ultrasonic. I'll post if it was productive...

I saw that, thanks, plus ordered 2 glass graduated cylinders. My polypro one still smells like a horrible coffee accident, no matter what I do to rid the smell.

Agreed!! My family had horses when I was a kid. I never rode seriously, but liked to goof off bareback. We would even tie fake halters with bailing twine...oh simpler times. Now I live in a concrete jungle with teeny tiny dogs(?), strollers, and tourists everywhere.
