LOL no. I was too busy trying to figure out what some of the flavor titles meant without the descriptions...I wonder what WW could stand for in terms of flavorings. Should I be scared?

I got a few promising results tonight. FA Black Tea and FA Jasmine, pretty tasty fresh off the press. I'm hungry for Chinese food now. Also had a Drew Estate Tobak Especial Java soaking in PG for the last week. Pulled that through a syringe filter and made a little sample, very nice. It's a coffee infused cigar but tastes more like chocolate right now. The best part is I figured out how to pull 15ml through the filter, before it was clogging after about 7ml. If I find a couple more good cigars I might be done chasing tobacco flavors.

Yes, I went slow at first ordering juices because I didn't want to end up with tons that I hated. MBV is still the only vendor I have ordered from multiple times. Anyway - the first 30 ml bottle was a little disappointing (still vapable), so i added the shot with the next 30 ml order. I had already read elsewhere on this forum that when you lower the nic, you might want more flavor. I've just stuck to the rule, and so far it works for me.
Thanks for sharing! BTW, I didn't taste much anise in White Out either, so I think you are correct that they add it very lightly (I sense it as a back note). You're also right that there is a buttery mint in there somewhere - it's not a "slap you in the face" mint. I think I'll have to add more flavors to my mile-long list once you get it worked out.

I've only ordered a few, and White Out was the only MBV one, and I've been back twice for it and I'm sure I'll grab another time or two before I get a similar DIY going. Really like that flavor, so I'll have to keep ordering it every now and again until I can make my own similar mix. I got a few from ECB too, Absinthe and Dragon's Blood, but other than those I've never bought any other juices. I'd had a few samples from vendors here and there in contests though, and a DIY mix from a member here too, but most of my juice venture has been DIY.

I knew before my first eGo arrived for my first vape, that I'd be doing DIY, so I already had a cart lineup at a few places and just had to wait a little till I had enough spare funds to get things here and there. I'm like you, I didn't want to get a bunch of juice I hated, so I tried my best to not even buy any premixes. Plus I'm always broke really, so that helped push me right into DIY and avoid buying tons of pre-mixes I didn't really like.

Ya, I'd be mad at my first 30ml too if I didn't get that +1 flavor shot! I wish they'd fix that, or at least make a note about it, since most would expect the flavor to be exactly the same no matter the bottle size! I got +1 on the first 30ml, wanting it to be +1 flavor above what I got in the 15ml, but it only equaled out, since I didn't know what you mentioned. I know now, and glad to hear it's not just me thinking that too, thought I was maybe crazy there for a minute! :D

The worst thing about that it, what about the 50ml? Do we have to start with +2 flavor to get the same flavor as zero flavor shot 15ml? And if so, does any additional flavor shots above and beyond those two super increase the flavor, or are the shots proportionate to the bottle size? Do they just not always mix right or what, I mean it should always taste the same no matter size, should I complain or at least let them know how we feel about that? Maybe I should PM james, and see if he'd comment via PM or something? I know he can't reply outside of the vendor section, but I do think they can PM still, right anyone? It would be nice if they'd acknowledge this, and fix it!

I know I was unhappy when I got that 30ml, but at least it was as good as the 15ml, but I wanted and paid for stronger flavor expecting to get it ya know. It's sad to know I have to pay twice for a single flavor shot, just to get started on adding more flavor. It's either that, or buy a bunch of 15ml, and that wouldn't be smart or affordable. At least now I know, and am not alone in thinking it either!!

Anyway, sorry for the rant everyone! Love that juice :) Ohh, I meant to tell you before, I always get 18 or 24mg/ml, and you're right higher Nic does make the flavor brighter too because I think 24 tasted best to me, so I might have to always get that (And of course +2 to start in the 30ml size, since I want to try it stronger flavored and +1 doesn't add anything)

Thanks for your confirmations on my thoughts about the flavor notes! I know we all taste things differently, so I was hoping that wasn't just me that tastes it like that. Hopefully I can get something close, since I'm always tight on cash I can't really afford to keep up a White Out habit :D Funniest thing a while back on varying tastes, I handed someone Pluid to taste, and they said it tasted like chocolate and menthol, maybe some banana hahaha! Couldn't be that, even after I told them the flavor they said they couldn't taste that at all, and they hate licorice/anise. They did say it was very strong flavor though, but main flavor was minty chocolate! :)

* haha, Whoa, what a wall, sorry everybody! :)

are you going?
Yes, both days. I don't know what to expect, it is my first time. I did sign up for classes, but again, don't know what to expect. I'm kind of excited, but secretly hope the classes aren't a huge waste of time. I'm looking forward to seeing equipment in person with vendors - being relatively new, looking at single product photos online is not the same as examining in person and being able to verbally ask questions is superior to reading for hours on the forum.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to think myself, but rolled with it. Once I figured out that I needed the additional flavor shot, I was happy enough to know to order it. I suppose it could be comparable to making large batches when cooking - I understand that when making large amounts of recipes, some ingredients must be scaled up beyond a straight ratio in order to achieve the same flavor. I made a mental note of it thinking it might come into play for DIY juices, but I've only made small 10 and 15 ml batches so far.
Yeah I like those glass graduated cylinders--use them alot for bigger mixes.
I liked the VZ cylinders that seem to have clearer .1 markings - the polypro 10 ml cylinder I own is marked .2 ml only and molded during production. It's still handy, but I've already discovered it is not exact enough for small batches.

Hope you have a good time and learn lots at the Vape meet Stone. Ya better hang onto your wallet thou........
Thanks, and LOL I was afraid of that. My wallet is a bit lighter these days with all of my DIY shopping, preceded by mod shopping. Of course, I am still at least window shopping both mods and more flavors. I'm definitely in OCD mode, being both obsessive and compulsive at the same time.:)

Ya, I guess that may be all we can do? You're right, that may be the reason this happens, or might just be several people mixing it up all the time so it's always varying a little? Hard to say, but sounds like we both noticed the same, so either an issue, or the same mixer making a mistake? I mean it's their recipe, so if what you mentioned was true, they would obviously be aware of those changes being needed to keep the flavor in larger samples, so being one of their signature flavors you'd expect they'd be aware of that and adjust each and every ratio for all bottle sizes so that signature flavor always came out the same.

I mean if my specialty flavor was a banana and pepperoni milkshake, with most people buying 15ml to start with, sure I'd probably know that 15ml recipe and overall flavor strength by heart since I'd mix it so often. But I'd also know the larger sized bottles recipe and overall flavor strength by heart since I'd also be making it often for myself and larger orders, and with that being one of my specialties I'd want them all to taste the exact same form the get-go no matter the bottle size.

So I do consider this an issue, especially since it cost the customer $$ to correct / equal it out in larger bottles. That shouldn't happen and is negative to the overall look of their flavorists, and brings the price up unnecessarily if you are going for larger bottles (Even though that's cheaper, but it's not when you have to add to correct/equal smaller flavor).

Hope to hear back from them about this! Did you get my PM, checking to be sure?

Agreed it's an issue, but my inexperience prevented me from mentioning it and instead of making waves, I adjusted my ordering practice. I did get your PM and responded this morning. I'm surprised you didn't get it yet...slow internetz delivery???

Ya, I didn't want to raise any issue with them either, thinking maybe it was a one-off or something, until I heard yo notice the same flavor-wise. Hopefully they see my thoughts as helpful instead of criticizing, I'd really like to help them correct the issue, so everyone else that notices this doesn't have to pay to adjust to the flavor they expected. Plus if it's happening across the line when switching sizes like that, then they need to readjust all recipes for bottle size jumps or something, because it should always taste the same not weaker just because the bottle is bigger.

Awesome person came up with this flavor, I'm sure he'd want it to taste the same no matter what too! I'm really surprised that hasn't been noticed an adjusted already. Where did you see others commenting about this, and was it the same flavor or just bottle size jumps in-particular with no specific flavor pointed out?

No PM from you, you sure you didn't hit send and then close the page without looking again? I bet you would have hit the char limit and needed to snip some from my reply, before it would go out.
