Flavors--light exposure

If your room is dark or flavor is indirectly to any form of light I think that would be safe as long as the room temp is cool. But if you are going to ask me of properly storing the eliquids and raw mats (PG, VG, nicotine and flavorings) I would religiously follow the guidelines provided by the well experienced vapers

Thanks! I have those kind of white, fabric shades where light comes through. I store my nic completely different. But the flavors are on top of a shelf getting some light, just never direct.

You're mist welcome. You can check and read some topics regarding storing. What I have read in and out of ECF and other forums is they want to maximize the shelf life of the raw mats.

Not "on display." They'll be in a rack hung on a closet wall and arranged alphabetically. I have no other convenient place to put them. The task of rummaging through boxes to find the flavors I need is wearing a bit thin.

You could do what I have done which is get a box and number all of the flavors on the top of the screw on lid. Then get index cards and number the lines. On each line you would put the number and then put the corresponding flavor. Then all you need to do is find the flavor your looking for on the index card, look at the corresponding number then find the number in the box of flavor. Viola!

I take it with you wanting to do them alphabetical order, you have a bit of OCD. Well, I'm the same way. With this process you have to fight your OCD because when you get new flavors and add them to the list it would throw off your numbering system. I would exchange OCD for convenience for the method. Also doing it this way you can put the box out of direct sunlight and it's also portable if you need to travel and make juice! Hope this helps you.

You have a window in a closet? I keep my flavors in plastic tool boxes which isn't the easiest to access each one but not like I am mixing daily or that often. Whatever works for the individual is what is best.

It didn't start out as a closet. Previous owner(s) apparently decided they need a walk-in closet so they walled off a section of the sun room and installed a door. Viola, a closet with three windows! One of the window shades broke and I haven't gotten around to replacing it. Guess I should do that now.

I consulted with a few different flavor manufacturers about the best way to keep flavors for as long as possible without losing their potency and i was told keep them in small glass bottles in the fridge.

Thats what i do with some of them but most are stored in the fridge in their original plastic bottles, i keep them in sealed ziplock bags .

This is what I'll be transferring mine to it's a jewelry/sock organizer. Can pull it out of the closet and hang it on the kitchen cabinet knob when I need to use them, no drilling or mounting required...

What about indirect sunlight? Mine are in a room that gets sunlight, but never directly

Keeping them in a fairly cool place away from DIRECT sunlight should be enough. Direct sunlight would heat the liquid & release the flavor in it similar to heating it in a coil. Cool, & no direct sunlight. Next to a window, or in a cool room with a window shoild be fine as long as no sunbeams hit it.
