That FDA going after flavor under the excuse of kid protection seem such a bad excuse to attack one of the main vaping "force"

i'am sure not against somes regulation to care about what substance are used so make it healhty as possible, but still.

was down to fill that survey, but since i'am not from the US, they doesnt want my opinion... so.. well.. fine.

Just one bad question. It asked how many flavors I use every day, then gave boxes to check how often I changed flavors. It didn't give me the option of saying I never change flavors, but always vape the same one (which I do at this point). I had to check something just to get to the next page.

I am generally skeptical about taking surveys like this because it seems the results can be twisted to use against us, but since it seems to have Dr. F's backing, I've completed it.
Same here. Not much trouble at all and hopefully a legitimate survey will help us all down the road.

It's kind of amazing. For all the damage they do, the most they do to cigarettes is say that you have to be a certain age to buy them. That's it. Makes you wonder why they won't settle for that in regards to e-cigs.
Are you really that naive? It all boils down to money. It's ALWAYS about the money.

The FDA is under great pressure from Big Tobacco and Big Pharma to eliminate the e-cig industry. The FDA receives the vast majority of its funding from BT and BP. The ecig industry is but a penny in a barrel of coins in the grand scheme of our economy. So the FDA is not going to cut off its foot and do the right thing. If the FDA had done the right thing years ago, there would be no tobacco industry by 2010. There also would not be a multimillion dollar industry for Nicorette or Chantix etc. It's in the FDA's best interests monetarily to favor BT and BP over e-cigs.

The FDA has admittedly made some minimal concessions to BT: No magazine, billboard, or television ads for cigarettes. Health warnings on the cigarette packs. How Pfizer got the FDA to approve Chantix with all of its side effects is beyond me.

Here's a great reason, look at the attached PDF and it will give you the payments BT made to 46 states from 1999 to 2016. The amounts are amazing.

Just do a little research on the Master Settlement Agreement. BT tobacco sales impact the amount allocated into these states piggy banks.

Follow the money!

I'm not being naïve; I know it's about money. What I'm pointing out is the hypocrisy. Something as dangerous as cigarettes gets a pass, in my mind, given the amount of money that industry generates, regardless of the known dangers of that product. Then you have e-cigs, which is the safer of the two habits, and the health benefits are just flat out ignored. Money over health.
