EDIT - I'll keep updating this post with the latest working link as long as I can.
Dimitris says it's old software so please be patient and check back if the current link brings you to that login page. Thanks.
Works as of 1:42PM Easter time on 4/4/18 - https://secure.dacimasoftware.net/CSURES/View/Survey/SurveyDataEntry.aspx

This works as of 11:30PM Eastern time 4/4/18 - https://secure.dacimasoftware.net/CSURES/A/FLAVORS.1/2/

From early on Monday

"Dear US vapers,
Sorry for the delay in launching the flavors survey. As you may know, we are using an FDA compliant software for surveys, which is of vital importance for the FDA to accept the results of the study. The questionnaire has already been uploaded, but the software company needs to validate the survey. Additionally, we want to make a final check on the question logic so that we avoid any mistakes that would create problems in the analysis. We think that the survey will be online and ready for recruitment today. We will keep you updated. Of crucial importance, we need absolute honesty in your responses so that we have realistic and representative results.
Best regards to all vapers in the US."

This is for US vapors only and only 1 entry per IP address.

The survey went live Monday night. It only takes 15 minutes. Scroll back to the top of this post for the most current working link. Thanks.

Show it. Here's mine

Wonder how many have already taken the survey? It has been posted on so many sites and have seen it on many vendor sites as well.

Hey Letitia

I was wondering the same thing when I bumped it this morning. I don't cruise many sites so I didn't really know where else it was showing up. I hope that vapors are participating, the study could be very telling since age is a question on the survey. It may just get congress to stop saying adults don't vape because of flavors.

The whole thing is lunacy, Bill posted that smoking was down again a little over 14% and that the CDC failed to go public because it would screw with their agenda. All they will do is create a black market that will go completely unchecked. We all know how well prohibition works, I think I'll go have a drink while I ponder this dilemma .... :toast:

Plus right now they are making tax dollars. They ban flavors home mixers will be raking in those dollars and not paying a penny of tax. Financially it just doesn't make sense to further restrict vaping. If a smoker wants to try vaping because nothing else worked they will find a way to do that regardless of regulations. As stated, banning has never been successful in this country.

It would be easy to regulate closed systems.
Kill open systems and they can regulate/tax pods, etc with minimal effort.
Not a ban. They want a simple solution to an impossible situation.

Flavors go -> vaping as is goes -> smokers keep smoking
Easy to reg/tax pods/cigalikes give the false impression that they didn't kill vaping

This is somewhat true. The fact is there are too many open systems out there now to hide them and China isn't going to quit making them and will I suspect alter their shipping labels.I believe if a smoker takes to vaping and outgrows the closed systems will be able to find and buy an open system. They will lose more than they gain in the long run because the decline in tobacco sales will also mean a loss in $$. They will lose income on both fronts. BT will reduce their contributions if they continue to lose customers.

Easy to reg pods/cigalikes = black market sales
True that but DIY black market would be insignificant compared to how the entire vaping industry affects their bottom like right now.

My family & friends will vape as much as we want until we don't want to anymore.

Don't discount gear. Once regs are finalized there will be a huge surge in rebuildable sales. I worry more for those that use drop in coils and simply can't afford to stockpile. Juice is easy to come by, dropins not so much.

We only have about 300 Nautilus BVC coils stockpiled for the Mrs. The goal is at least twice that. Right now she maintains her own gear. It'll suck when she has to switch to a Kayfun. If she had to rebuild/wick then she'd quit vaping or go back to smoking.
