I have just received my first package of flavors from http://www.flavourart.it/expresseng/enter.html (in Italy). I have to say that they are pretty darn good. And they have a lot of variety not available from Lorann's.

For example, the Beer flavor really tastes like beer. Not like Budweiser or anything I can put my finger on since I am not a big beer drinker (got it for my BF), but kind of what I would describe as a strong red beer. Don't know why I say red, since I've never had a red beer, but that is what comes to mind.

Also, on a whim I got the Magic Mask, which is under the sweet flavors as AAA Magic Mask. It is supposed to suppress the acid flavor receptors in your tongue for a few seconds. My peach has a little bite to it that was annoying me, so I tried ten drops of MM in 1.5 ml of peach -- it absolutely fixed the bite of the flavor and opened up the peach flavor much better. (Edited to add that it may not take as much as I added, I just tried it with about 5 drops and it didn't quite do it, so the amount needed is somewhere between 5-10 drops per 1.5ml on really sharp acid tastes.)

I also got Whiskey and Jasmine. Haven't tried them yet, but I am very excited about this vendor.

You know, I was just going to post up a question here about taming the bite I'm getting from pomegranate. The bite was an expected result but I'm wondering if the AAA Magic Mask will yield the same results for pomegranate as it did for peach. I'm also wondering if the bite you are referring to in peach is the same tart bite you'd expect to get from a pomegranate...

They also provide a lengthy post concerning diacetyl and which flavors contain the compound. Here's the list for quick reference.

I think it is worth the price, even though the bottles are 10 grams, so smaller than an ounce. I didn't like the milk flavor - it tasted like spoiled milk. I am getting ready to try to make a chicken teriyaki flavor using their flavors, placed the order the other day.

I made a nice whiskey sour flavor with flavourart -- still needs some work, but is definitely whiskey sour.

Magic Mask has been a tremendous lifesaver for me. I would say use only a drop or two at first and test it out, as you have to find the happy medium place where flavor is still good but acidity is reduced.

Really, I am so glad I ordered the Magic Mask -- I just ordered some more, so you might order a larger size if you think you will be using it much.

What is a vat.

VAT is Value Added Tax

I believe it is 20% on top of your order (if shipping outside of Italy).

It was really great to see FlavorArt do this. I contacted them a couple months ago about using their flavors for PV's and it started a conversation about what we, as vapers, wanted. We emailed back and forth several times asking and answering questions. They really took the ball and ran with it.

I think it's going to be an excellent source.

i have an order with all the 7 tobacco flavours, will report back as soon as i get them.

as for added VAT, you can't avoid it as for european laws, even if they sell outside EU.
They can invoice you without VAT only if you have a registered business company.

I got my FlavourArt order today.

All of these smell unbelievably good! Well, except cream. I will experiment carefully with that one.

In the order, I got their Magic Mask, Vape Wizard, and some of their PG nic-juice at 36mg.

I'll try to remember to update this thread with reviews and info as I try and test things. Though I might not really get a chance to explore until this weekend.

This stuff sounds quite useful for us:

Magic Mask
NEW !! Reduce the acid perception without modifying the pH.

pH is one of the key factors involved in food stability. In order to reduce the pH, a small amount of organic acid must be added to the food preparation (i.e. citric, malic, tartaric acid). In most cases the addition of food acid is beneficial both for microbiological stability and taste ( just think to an lemon or cola drink, they must be acid to be good ).
However, some other foods might require food acid for microbiological safety BUT the acid taste does not complement well ( a light cheese, a sauce as example ).

In this cases, the use of Magic Mask can be of help. Magic Mask does not buffer the pH, nor alter it. Magic Mask acts at the tongue receptors level, temporarily reducing the acid perception, thus improving the overall mouth feel. Its action last 5-8 seconds and involve only the acid receptors.
Recommended dosage is 1 up to 3 grams for Kg food. When comparing products with and without Magic Mask, the food with Magic Mask must be tasted as second.

Give it a try.

so when mixing lorans and such it seems that 10% - 20% of the mix goes to flavor . how does this work out with flavourart ?

and i guess they sell my weight not volume thus how big is the bottle of whatever flavor in ml

I'm not familiar with the mixing ratios for this product yet, but I think I can answer your second question, given that the basic conversion hasn't changed. g to ml is pretty much a straight shot. So 15g would be 15ml and .5 oz unless math has drastically changed in the last several years.
