Now that everyone has had time to fiddle with the Virginia tobacco a bit, how about some recipes in percentages.

FA recommends 1-2%. Would you say this was accurate for a nice, smooth Virginia taste (1 or 2%)? Or how many drops per ml do you use?

Especially interested in sjohnson's and son's response.........but I would like to hear what everyone who has tried it has to say.

I tried one drop/5 ml and it was a bit too subtle.

I'm really liking 2 drops/5 ml. I am finding that my palate isn't consistent. Some times it's outstandingly like fresh tobacco smells, other times it's just a vague taste.

But that's the rule for all flavors for me, commercial or DIY. When I'm tasting them well, they're great. When my taste is off, they're just pleasantly OK. Mornings are the worst. I wish I could find something to "clean" my palate to get that great flavor I find only about 30% of the time.

A cup of coffee and a vape is very good. Any flavor I've recently sampled is reflected in the vape. Coffee always gives an amplification of pleasant flavor (coffee plus tobacco flavor). vaping after brushing my teeth with toothpaste is very, very unpleasant! vaping after a meal can be good or bad, but always changes the taste until my palate clears of the flavor of the meal.

Thank you very much. Just ordered the Virginia from LF. The Virginia got restocked. I messed up before and was dinking around wondering if I should order or not and it went out of stock.

Thanks, sjohnson, this is what info I was searching for. I agree on the palate......sometimes great, sometimes good, and sometimes not so good. Yes it taste horrible after brushing the teeth.....lol...

Yes! Start small, and add drops until it meets YOUR criteria for flavor.

Forgive my language, but who gives a ....... what other people think is good.

Seems to me you and I are on the same page regarding flavoring!!!!

I concur! Add a drop and test, repeat until satisfied with the flavor!

:D
