Hi guys

I'm looking for a 22mm dripper (or whatever fits on the istick pico), with a possibility to single coil, completely for flavour (I want to be able to try flavours customers bring in our local vape shop). So far I've looked at the goon 22mm and the sapor. The goon is really pricey and I believe the sapor is not possible to use in single coil mode.

Any tips?

I use rda's exclusively and just one of those, SV rda clone from fasttech. It's intended for single coils and I find very good at flavor. It takes some practice to build a horizontal coil but worth the effort in my opinion. $7.16 SV Style RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping For MTL use the barrel with the single air supply. I use it on a Pico, my favorite mod.

It might be worth every penny, however my wallet does not have that many pennies. it's like 50 odd $ which to me seems ridiculous. Have you tried the goon clone?

Sorry. I have not tried the clone. I think I have heard positive reviews, but please don't quote me on that.

I am not a fan of clones. 90% of the vape hardware clones I bought have been total garbage. I now have the mindset of saving up for a good authentic instead of "nickel and diming" myself with cheap mods. Been there done that a lot of times and now realize it is not worth it IMO.

If you cannot afford a Goon, the WOTOFO Sapor has some pretty good reviews. The WISMEC Indestructible RDA is a pretty good RDA too. I have a couple of those on my Noisy Crickets. They can be a PITA to build on. Takes a little practice.

I've bought a couple of clone,s some are great (the kennedy 24 clone) and others not so much the Troll clone. I'm not desperate for a single coil build. I've just heard that they are supposed to be more flavourful. I'm also told the Nectar and the Magma are supposed to be decent but the juice well just doesn't cut it for me. I looked at the sapor, it seemed decent but there was a reason I didn't like it (can't remember what it was I'll have to check it out in a bit). I've been reading about the goon clone and it's apparently just as good as the original, like no need to buy it the original if you have the clone.

Is the In destructible RDA by wismec any good for flavour? Like it's all I'm after, the flavour. As sometimes in our shop our customers bring liquids from all over the place, and I can't expect them to give me a whole tank in my Combo RDTA.

Fasttech OK?
These are really good for a single coil in the middle - air from two sides...

Narda
Hadaly

I'm not sure about this, I don't see what you're trying to tell me ? not all fasttech products are OK. I once bought batteries off them, they were completely beaten up (not just scratched, actually DENTED). I was not going to use those. They didn't refund me either, as I had no proof they were from them. I stopped buying from fasttech for a while after that. Anyway if I'm missing the point, pls ellaborate.

I was asking basically if you were comfortable buying from Fasttech, since i was giving you links to VERY popular clones available through them. Same product also available from other China sources. I just didn't know if you were looking for "Authentic only, but cheaper than Goon" - or what...

The recommendation stands - those are decent quality clones, recent "big hit sellers' - with a reputation for being excellent 22mm flavor atomizers. Both designs are really optimized for one big coil between two posts, with air coming from two sides...

I think they shine for "restricted" draw and have airflow that works - but yeah - more MTL users probably...
I actually have the Hadaly and it actually has a good amount of air flow, if you cut down the air it would be a loose MTL. I'm actually very impressed with it and the flavor is outstanding.

boah, thanks guys.. I'm a bit overwhelmed. So far we have:
22mm goon authentic
22mm goon v2 clone
wotofo sapor
Hadaly clone
NarDa clone
Indestructable wismec
freakshow v2 (authentic?)
yuri by desire

Out of these, say flavour divided by price, what is the best option? again I don't mind spending a bit of money, however I don't see why people are so 'scared' of clones. So I don't really mind. If the flavour on the thing is amazing, it's fine if it's a bit more pricey, bu if I can get a decent amount of flavour on a cheaper one that's even better. (I wish I could test all of them)

just looked at the yuri, isn't bottom airflow better for flavour?

see, some people tell me single coil is better for flavour, other say it doesn't matter.
same goes for bottom/side airflow.

would be nice to know what you guys think?
Bottom air is best for flavor but the way the Yuri has the air it is angled to come up under the coil. I'm impressed with it, do I have other RDA's that have better flavor? Yes, but they also cost 3+x more than the Yuri ;)

It really does have excellent flavor and for an Authentic and the quality of machining for under $20 it's an excellent buy.
