Thanks for that. I tend to stick with tobacco flavours so no problem there. I can't really understand why anyone would want to inhale the contents of their local candy store. Still, each to their own.

Because it's delicious :) Lol. I never liked the smell of tobacco when I smoked cigarettes, so I have yet to venture into making juice that is tobacco flavored. Not that I wouldn't try it out of curiosity though.

I am for the most part a tobacco vaper and though a lot like you. But being 3 years into this I am starting to get tired of the same old tobaccos. I have been venturing into fruits and deserts of late and must say I very much enjoy a nice strawberry cream as a change of pace vape. I find myself vaping more and more tea's, cinnamon deserts, lemonaid's etc.... As you start to get tired of the same old tobaccos you to will also find it a nice change up just wait and see:).

Wow, thanks for that. I've been looking at the links and one of them chilled my blood. I had kind of assumed that buying a bottle of liquid nicotine - I've seen it advertised online - would be the way to go if I wanted to save money. Apparently pure nicotine can kill you if you just get some on your skin. (I guess that would save me money as I would never need to splash out on a new pair of shoes again.) I'm starting to realise what a novice I am in the home brew game. Thank God I found this site.

And, in response to Dannyv45. I've only come across a tea ejuice once and, I must confess, it is my favourite to date. Cinnamon sounds good too. It's the bubble gum, skittles and cola flavours that I can't get my head around.

I'm not much of a candy eater so those don't really do anything for me either. But a good tobacco vape with a touch of chocolate cream really works well for me. Expecially those tobaccos with a bit of bite or dryness to them, The chocolate really takes the edge off that bite and dryness.

People can get confused about this issue. Absolutely - 100% nicotine is deadly and it should not even be sold to the general public. However a solution of 100mg/ml nicotine is not the same thing as 100% nicotine.

This happens a lot where new people confuse mg/ml as equating to a 1:1 percentage - it's not the same maths. IE: A liquid that is expressed as being 12 mg/ml only contains 1.2 percent nicotine in that mix - not 12 percent.

After I started I quickly switched to a Turkish/Mojito mix (from some type of juice that was too sweet and creamy for me, (but it came with the starter kit..)), lately I've been vaping a mix with a bit of Key Lime or just the straight unflavored mix. I recently came across a sweet tea/peach/lemonade concentrate that I might try. I was going to also say pretty much the same thing Rickajoho said above about the mg/percentage thing.

Yes, I get that a solution of 100mg/ml is not the same thing as 100% nicotine but there are products online that sell 'Pure Nicotine 99,9% USP/EP' (I have no idea what USP/EP stands for) to the vaping community. Isn't that the potentially deadly variety or have I got that wrong?

That's referencing the purity level of the product. But if that's a verbatim description you found - 'Pure Nicotine 99,9% USP/EP' - it's poorly worded and I can certainly understand your confusion.

USP stands for United States Pharmacopeia. EP stands for European Pharmacopoeia. They set standards for product/drug purity and their definitions such as "pharmacy grade", "food grade" etc.

100% nicotine is 1,000mg/ml and pure poison. 100mg/ml is what you will mostly find online for vaping. In reality what you can buy is a 10% solution of pure nicotine. And then you cut it to say 10mg/ml and it is a 1% solution. I am really glad you found this site, I would hate to see you get sick from the wrong stuff.

The product that I chanced upon comes from a company called Chemnovatic. Check it out, as far as I can I can judge their Pure Nicotine 99.9% is exactly what it says on the tin. Great for professional manufacturers I'm sure but deadly if, in all innocence, I had ordered a bottle.

You can't order from Chemnovatic - it's a manufacturer & reseller supplier site only. As a non manufacturer I can't even get in far enough on their site to see if they actually sell an undiluted 100% nicotine. You have to go through one of their retail distributors.

In the UK that's Molinshop.com and taking a quick look at the Chemnovatic line there the highest concentration you can buy is 36 mg/ml. (And if I recall, that's the highest concentration you are allowed to sell at retail in the UK.)
