Anyone have one of these beauties? Mine has been long neglected and needs some love and attention. I'm interested as to what builds you've honed in on for best production of flavor and vapor. The last time i built on mine I think i did dual coil, about .4 ohm 2.4mm ID on 26g kanthal.

And I should note that I use only mechs. I go only as low as .21 for sub-ohm builds due to limitations of my batteries.

I think the Tugboat V1 was one of the finest rda's I've ever owned. I guess dual 26's or 24's was what I usually ran...the occasional single coil. Loved that atty.

just built V2 the other day 2.5mm SS 316l 26 g 6 wraps.....right around 0.3 if I remember correctly......I wish I would have had this thing converted to squonk back when Tom at Catfish atty mods was doing them ( if you got the SS post)

The V2 is an awesome RDA. I lent mine to a friend and never got it back.

I run a similar RDA. I do dual contact coils 26ga, 2.5mm ID, 7 wraps (I think) it's about .34 ohms and run close to the posts centered or offset depending on mood.

Get pretty good flavor, I do play with my wattage depending on the flavors. Pink lemonade I run the wattage to get 4.2v (high side just before hitting 4.3v) and on custards or RY4 I jump the wattage to reach 4.4v to 4.7v (about 57w).

Now that's my preferences/readings on my mod, YMMV, lol.

Ah, sounds like i had my setup kinda already dialed up in my mind. I'm gonna shoot for .3 when I get around to building, and on 26g kanthal 2.4mm ID. Any of you try building quad? It's kinda tricky IIRC, i think i tried having the coils vertical. This was ages ago.
Kind of a spendy RDA but I used it daily for 2 years, it's built to last. It's time to bring it back into rotation again.

Quads will work horizontal or vertical, you could also just run dual parallel.
