Influenza is viral, not bacterial.
Here comes the panic. THe media LOVE to hype all of this up so everyone will RUN to the doctor to get shots that are NOT for this particular strain anyway.
Don't forget most if not all of those that die from the flu are the folks with immune system issues anyway - and the old and very young.
