I just received my fluxomizers in the mail. upon opening them i discovered that i was not sent the needle tip.. although i dont know how much it would have helped considering by the time i had visited the third pharmacy i realized that no one is going to sell me a syringe. i have gotten as far as to removing the first 2 rubber seals.. what now? how do i fill these things (without a syringe). i saw a post with someone saying it was possible and even easier to drip fill but they did not go into any detail explaining.. ive searched the forums and google and turned up no real answers to my question.. any help would be wonderful.

You can remove that last silicone seal with a paper clip or a tiny screwdriver or something like that. Just CAREFULLY pry it up very slowly. If you pry it too quickly it will rip. Have some patience and apply slow, steady pressure and it will come off the cup. It might be a good idea to put a drop of e-liquid on the seal before you pry it off to help lubricate it. Then you can drip your liquid down the side of the tube making sure it doesn't get into the ceramic cup. You can replace the silicone seal as it was but if your juice is on the thick side, you can try pushing it down half way so that it will be easier to remove until you get a needle. Also, if you got the clearomizers apply extra caution as the tool used to pry up the silicone seal can very easily damage the tube. Good luck!

Here is some very clear advise from mwa102464 when I struggled with this. And, yes, you don't need a needle to fill this but you do need to pull that final cup that snugs around the bridge to just drip the juice down the sides.

mwa102464:
Listen to me carefully OK, First you pop off the small white cap mouth piece, second you remove the first silicone O-Ring with a pair of long pointy tweezers if you have them if not what ever you can make work, then 3rd there will be a thicker O-Ring covering the ceramic cup, what you do is pinch this against the inside wall and pull upward at the same time until it pops off of that ceramic cup, be a bit carefull but you wont hurt it, its a little tough at first but you will feel it pop off. after you have the ceramic cup exposed just drip with you bottle down the side, each side until you see your liquid come up to the bottm of the cup or half way up it and STOP. put say 3 drops in the center of the cup, now take that first smaller O-Ring you took out and carefully put it back in just enough that it sits lightly on top of the ceramic cup and put either your stock white soft cap back on or a drip tip. let that cart sit for a good half hour or so. I keep one of the rubber condom caps on the Batt end while I fill it and let it sit. Now your ready to use the CE2 Carto, simple enough, might sound like a hassle but its easy once you get use to it, just follow my direction one at a time and you will be fine.

He was right - it is very easy or I wouldn't have been ale to do it - believe me! The resulting vape was fantastic! I really think this is my favorite atty ever! Also I am normally a 6 volt vaper but because I was trying to be careful about blowing the atty (I did do that to the 1st) I switched to 3.7 volts to try it. So I vaped and vaped and forgot entirely that it was 3.7 volts! The ohm on this atty was approx 3.0 as well so not a LR atty. Now I can no longer say I just vape at 6 volts - I really like this atty! I think if I did try it at 6 volts I might be knocked unconcious!

I think that third seal is easier than you'd imagine. You kinda want to get under a lip/ledge and pull up - maybe when you get the beginning on one side you may want to rotate and lift a little from another area - this is just me being extra careful but I'm not sure there is much risk. Mainly getting a little under the silicone lip and move it up and out the tube.

I misread you I thought you asked if it needs to be pulled up a certain way but you asked put back a certain way - I don't put it back at all - what I do is put the first silicone donut back in and (from another post) I add a second silicone donut (I used the 1 from my first blown atty) on top of the first - it seems to hold the juice in.

so i do not replace the third seal just use the second in place of it?

Just put it back the way you found it. :)
An imaginary line between the two tiny holes should be perpendicular to the coil.

edit- or just do what alisab said... As long as there's something over the cup you should be ok. If you want to make sure there are no leaks, then replace the ring that was over the cup as you found it.

I'm patiently awaiting an answer to this, too. I have it filled up all the way and I still get a burnt taste after a few puffs. It's the only one I tried out of the package - I guess I will try another one and see if it has the same taste.

On the CE2's (or flux) before using, even prior to using new ones (or if you get the burnt taste) I do the following:

1) Remove and rinse all plugs (Cap, inner ring, and ceramic cup ring - this one is a bit of a PITA to get out)
2) Rinse the cartomizer in hot water
3) Drop the cartomizer in boiling water (microwave water to boil), then drop cartomizer in for 5 minutes agitating occasionally
4) Rinse again
5) Shake excess water out, blow out excess water from both ends
6) Dry burn until you see all wraps of the coil burn red (typically three wraps), this may take a couple minutes
7) Fill w/ 1.5 mil on new/clean and 1 ml on refill (note: I do not replace the ring around the ceramic cup, I feel it reduces wicking on my higher VG juices).
8) Replace inner ring and cap (not cup ring)
9) Vape

This method works great on all CE2's I own from COV or Volcano (metal or clear). Dark and higher VG juices will require more often cleaning however I usually clean after 4 reloads and NEVER have a burnt taste with the above steps.

Hope this helps
