So I'm gradually working my way into the refillable world and I think i've landed on these 2 choices from gotvapes. I have an SI volt that i'll be attaching these to and just wondering if anyone has experience with this setup. Heard great things from a video review about the phoenix, especially on a volt setup. However, i've been glancing at the fluxomizers too although I cant really see the difference. Anyone tried both?

I've tried both. So far I've had no issues from the pheonix. With the fluxo's I had issues with leakage and gurgling from the first vape and it only got worse. I would recommend the pheonix over the fluxo's hands down. I'm currently using them on a volt x2 and it is working outstanding. They worked flawlessly on my v2 batteries as well, which is similar in style to your volt.

The Phoenix from gotvapes works great on the volt products. I have tried the fluxos as well, and as much I liked them, the Phoenix is 10times better.

The fluxos are actually ce2 and the Phoenix is a ce3, a newer technology. There is no bottom coil fluxo but here is the difference between the top coil Phoenix and the Fluxo. These are not the same as ce3's on other sites. Gotvapes works with the manufacturer to tweak them for better performance.

The fluxo has a slotted silicone cup seal. juice can leak down it into the top if you turn it upside down or don't seat it right. The fluxo has problems with the cup cutting of the flow in the wicks. The heating wires in the fluxo are inside the juice tube, which can heat up the juice more.

The Phoenix is sealed better for better leak protection. The Phoenix wicks better and doesn't have the problem of the cup cutting of the flow. The Phoenix doesn't gurgle as much. The wires in the Phoenix are inside of a metal tube so that the juice doesn't heat up any more.

The bottom coils are a whole different ball game. They are super easy to clean and give great vapor. Use the 2.4-2.6ohms, it gives a warmer vape. Steeljan actually calls these the dual coil killer.

I posted a YouTube video showing these on volt products. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELM4QhceR7o

I've been a hardcore Fluxo user for over a year. Once they're set up properly, they work great. They may require some simple modding. The Phoenix top coils are similar to the Fluxos from a couple versions back, as far as the cup seal. The main differences between the Phoenix top coil and the current Fluxos are the cup seal, the base, and the fact that the wires aren't exposed or soldered on the Phoenix. Also, the tubes can be easily removed on the Fluxos, for cleaning. Not so with the Phoenix top coils. Between the two, I prefer Fluxos. Lately, I've been using the Phoenix bottom coils, and I'm very impressed with them. But, it's very important that they be filled properly; upside down.

I've tried both and the bottom coil Phoenix (called CE3s elsewhere) actually work. I tried 2 Flux and they both sucked.

I carry CE3s every day to work...

Same here, I've tried all of them and the bottom coil CE3 XL is by far my favorite. It works and it works great! Some of them you need to adjust the coil a bit, but it is an easy task. Definitely try the CE3 bottom coil, or the Phoenix bottom coil as Got Vapes calls it, you won't be sorry :)

I absolutely love the CE3/Phoenix. To be quite honest though I can't tell a lick of difference between the Phoenix from Gotvapes and the CE3 from discount vapers(except the $2.00 price difference).

Marty

That's because there is no difference other than name and the $2;)

Yea, I totally agree. I kept reading where folks were claiming the Phoenix was better so I bought a box to find out for myself. No difference at all. If I unwrapped and put 5 filled of each in a bowl I can almost guarantee you no one could tell you one from the other even after using it.

Same here. My first box was the "Phoenix" branded CE3s from Gotvapes, and every box since then has been the CE3s from discount vapers and I find no difference in them at all other than Gotvapes charging $2 for a graphic printed box.

Regardless, the CE3s are fantastic and I recommend them.

I use an Ego-C, and tried both.

I found for me that the CE3 (Phoenix, and the 3ML version, both bottom coil) worked better in the long run. However, note the price difference. For someone on a budget (like myself), a CE3 can be a bit cost prohibitive. Still, for the juices I really like, or when I travel, I use the CE3. The flavor is cleaner, cleaning is a snap, and they don't leak*.

As for the Flux, it too is decent. I started on a CE2, and had a good experience with it as well. The downside is cleaning, was a PITA for me.

(* I have only known these to leak on long flights. Flights from the U.S. to the U.K., EU, and Asia each left me with a set of CE3s that leaked. I use the Boge condoms to cap them when in the air, it helps prevent a mess.)

i tried fluxo .. phoenix top coil and bottom coil and vivi nova.. my fav is still the phoenix bottom coil.. never gurgles.. easy to wash out and fill.. great vapor and great draw..

I have all 4 of what you mentioned, and I agree, the bottom coil Phoenix is the best. Especially for portability.

The fluxo's leak the most out of the 4. Why, because you don't need to syringe to fill them. They also have the most issues with wicking. But they aren't a bad product. I actually use mine for juice testing now.

The vivi nova is awesome but has 2 drawbacks. One is that it is big. The second is that it is top coil, so you have to deal with wicks and the fact that some juices will separate Flavors And the Flavors change as you vape. It is the easiest to clean and is rebuildable.

The top coil Phoenix is a good product. They are portable and the over wicking issues have been fixed. Again though, it's a top coil, so you have the same issues as the vivi.

Bottom coils are the most leak proof of the 3 smaller ones so long as you fill correctly. Coils are on bottom so there is no separation of flavor. They have the coolest vape so get the 2.4-2.6ohm
