I have been using Fluxos for about a year, through the last several versions. I recently got the Phoenix TC and BC, to try. I'm very impressed with the bottom coil, although the vape is a bit cooler. For me, it's a toss up, between the Phoenix BC and the Fluxo. Of the three, my least favorite is the Phoenix TC, for a couple reasons. For one, while they don't leak, they almost wick too well. They tend to flood the cup, so that I have to clear it with the first drag. Once it's clear, they do vape great. Secondly, I like to take my cartos apart to clean them, and dry burn. The tubes on both the Fluxos and Phoenix BC are easily removable. It's very tricky to remove the tubes on the Phoenix TC, because of the way the base is built. It's easy to accidentally separate the two pieces of the base.

I agree with all of your points.

The overwicking is supposed fixed on the top coil. There is a thread about it on the gotvapes forum.

The bottom coil is a little cooler, which is why I suggest the 2.4-2.6

While the bottom coil is super easy to clean, almost as easy as a vivi nova, the top coil is a little more difficult. I don't want to take the tube off of it, so I just rinse and soak. The fluxo came apart nicely, but almost too easy. I actually knocked it off a couple of times

I have been able to remove the tube from a Phoenix TC by using a tool that fits inside the tube, flat against the top of the cup, and pushing down on the cup, while simultaneously wiggling the tube off, with the base attached to an old battery. I used a needle cap from a 1ml syringe for the tool.

Was thinking about doing that, but then it just turned into a hassle to find something in my house to fit and I gave up. They are fairly easy to rinse under water, although some water stays in the wicks. I haven't found that to be an issue yet. I only use these at home, because of the over wicking they are just not fun to carry around. I am really only using them because I don't feel like throwing $12 down the drain... I won't buy them again, for sure..

The 1.5ml BC is still my all time fav:)

Yep, I'm very impressed with the BC Phoenix 1.5. I'll continue buying them. I probably won't buy any more TCs though. I prefer the Fluxos. Danno mentioned in one thread that they had considered replacing the Fluxo line with the TC Phoenix. I responded that I hope they don't.

I feel the same way. I fixed the over wicking, but they are harder to clean. I just love the bc. I only use the tc because I bought them. I've used 2 and am saving the other 3 for emergencies or to PIF.

The bc is what I use 90% of the time

can anyone guide me on how to clean the phoenix bc? i noticed that i don't taste the flavor of my juice that much. i'm thinking maybe it needs to be cleaned? thoughts?

Sure. Towards the end of this video, cleaning is covered, it's an easy process really after separation.

I notice that on one out of ten (one in two packs) of CE3's (Phoenix BC). Not sure what happens to cause it, but the cartomizer works fine. I've also noticed that some juice blends tend to lose flavor as well after a length of time. Strange really. Perhaps I should start logging the flavor loss events and keep notes.

I use the Boge condoms to cap them when in the air, it helps prevent a mess.)

Hey!
This is a great tip!
I just tried this with a Boge condom and it really seems to work!

I'll try doing this instead of carrying a filled CE3 in a little plastic bag.

Thanks for posting it!

I’ve used CE2’s since before they were called CE2.

And for me, they are the by far the Best thing I have ever used. And I have try just about Everything out there.

I prefer to Top Coil over a Bottom Coil. The hit off a Top Coil to me is a Warmer more Flavorful Hit. And that is the type of Hit I’m looking for.

Does a CE2 work Perfectly out of the Box for Everyone with Any PG|VG e-Liquid at Any Voltage? No, It Doesn’t. But what Carto / Atty Does?

But a CE2 thru some Incredibly Simple Modifications and Vaping Techniques can be made to work for the Majority of Vaper’s. (The Simplest improvement in Performance to a CE2 can be achieved with No Modification what so ever. And that is just to “Tilt” when you vape.)

I keep trying New Products as they come out and Maybe something New will come down the Pipe which will work Better than a CE2 for me. But seeing that there have been No Real Major New Designs in the Last 7 or 8 months, I am skeptical that something New is right around the corner.
