Travel and Vaping Flying to Austria in 5 hours

Taking an Xhaler with me. I read up on the TSA FAQ and all sounds consistent with taking my JoyeStick from DC to NY.

My only question might be--if they ask about it, should I call it an "electronic cigarette" or a "personal vaporizer"?

I will report back on the 23rd when I am back state-side.

That is all up to you. PV vs. ecig is something that doesnt matter when you go through security. I use the term PV or personal vaporizer simply for the fact that the word cigarette has so much negativity surrounding it. As far as TSA is concerned though it is simply an electronic device no matter what you call it.

As a follow-up to my own question, electronic cigarette is a better term to use, at least when coming home to the US. The security officers likely are not native English speakers and will understand that over "personal vaporizer".

I'd say "its, nicotine inhaler. Its like the gum sorta." At no point imply it produces "smoke" or "burns" or is a "cigarette"

if the want a demo, hold it in for a few so there is no vapor. You are not trying to show them how cool it is.
