This week I was flying across the country, and I took my MaxxFusion with me. I have learned the hard way that if I don’t want to risk having my suitcase or carry-on ransacked, it is better to put all my e-cig stuff in a separate container and place it in one of those security bins along with my shoes.

On my outbound flight, I passed through security with no problems. On my flight back home, after the e-cig stuff went through the metal detector, the security guys took it out of the bin and said they needed to examine it. I informed them that it contained an electronic cigarette which has a metal battery and metal cartridges. After the security guys went through the e-cig bag for a few seconds, one of them looks up and asks, “But where is the cigarette”? I took out the case holding the e-cig batteries and opened it up so he could see it. Then they asked me to demonstrate how it worked. At this point I realized that they were no longer doing a security check and were simply curious about it. So there I was at the security area of the airport, demonstrating how the MaxxFusion works and explaining the cool-looking PCC. When I exhaled, they commented on the vapor and asked a few more questions. Then one of the guys looks at the other and said, “I have to get one of these for my mother”. What a great moment.

BTW, I told him I would recommend he get the MaxxFusion from bloogplanet.com.

Nice one slim!!

i was blooging in universal studios a few weeks ago... and a guard came over and said no smoking in this area...and i said its not a real cigarette and showed him....he kept looking around me to see where i must have thrown the "real cigarette" ...so i moved and showed him both my hands...and said really no cigarette.... so he looked at me all serious and was like come on lady where is the smoke coming from then.....and i showed him how the bloog works...i still think he thinks i played a switch on him though lol.....

Had my 3 grandkids in a fancy restaurant yesterday blowing vape rings for them to disintegrate with various techniques like they love to do (after briefly admiring them), when the waiter comes over and says 'oh that's one of those vapor things, I've seen them." Now I had tacit approval for over an hour before this exchange, but now I had verbal. Good, acceptance thing.

Lame story I know, but just wanted to share...

I love hearing stories about people being cool about someone using an e-cig in public. We hear a lot about being given a hard time, so it's nice to know that some people "get it".

I had used a PV in the DMV one day and the guard came up to me to inform me there was no smoking. I quickly handed him a card explaining the e-cig and vapor then replied its not a normal cigarette. He then told me not to let too many people see me and asked if he could keep the card, to which i said of course. which reminds me will bloog start sending business cards with an explanation on the back or atleast a card in general so I can pass on the awesomeness of BMF to friends.

Yes, I would love to hand out Bloog cards rather than the ones for a competitor that I'm currently handing out to customers at the store where I work who ask about the PVs all of us use.

I requested some cards when I sent them an email for the Bloog commission program, but never heard back from anyone.

haha wheres the cigarette??..:?: thats great!!

Just a short comment that is slightly OT as it has nothing to do with flying, but I was at a SB watching party Sunday and one of the other guests sitting near me had been looking in my direction for a while, but finally said "I'm just wondering, does your cigarette not smell because you have it in that holder?" After demostration and explanation, she was quite intrigued.

You weren't OT at all. The stories don't have to be about flying. It's good to hear about any positive responses we get when using an e-cig (or Blooging) in public. It amuses me that the person was trying to figure out why your cigarette didn't smell. We can educate the public about e-cigs and the lives they can save, one person at a time.
