The KF V4 is not a simple Orchid or KFL. Even a 12$ KFL can be waisted money and there are lots of crappy KFLs around.

If the cheaper V4 would be from Ivogo, I would choose the Robbot.

If a Hotcig V4 version would be 30% cheaper than the Robbot, I would take the Robbot.

If a Infinite version would be available for the same price, I would have to ask a dice.

I would buy only V4 versions from Infinite, Robbot, Limwell and EhPro.

Btw: even the original V4 has not a perfect spring. If you use a mech. mod and a coil below 0.8 Ohm, you can have a voltage drop of 0.3 Volt ( 0.05 Ohm). But when you stretch the spring you can lower the voltage drop to less than 0.1 Volt.

So what makes the Robbottech KF v4 40% better than any of the other clones? I've never heard of them before so I'm just curious.

You know, I cannot say with certainty that the Robbot Tech KF V4 will be better than the others, because I don't have any of them yet. I waited for the Robbot Tech version because I am familiar with their machining skills, and felt that they were capable of nailing this clone, thats all. Oh and the fact that its a confirmed top to bottom 1:1 replication .. the other clones are not specified as 1:1.

Many of the other KF V4's are made by unknown manufacturers, and I prefer a identified manufacturer on this one. Also .. this is not the kind of device where I would want the cheapest possible version of it.

The proof will be in the pudding, and I hope DHL will be delivering mine by tomorrow ... I hope. I will also be getting the Tobeco version as soon as they are ready to ship. Due to the great job Tobeco did with the Aqua V2 clone, I have hope that theirs will be good as well. But again none of us can say which clone is the best one until we all get them and start comparing.

I agree Rudy .. The four companies you named, I have the confidence in all of them to produce the "better" clones. Limwell has confirmed they have made a 1:1 so perhaps Doris will get that at some point. I would love to be able to compare a Robbot vs Infinite KF V4 to see who may out best the other.

How are you liking your IPV Mini so far?

well, it'll be even sweeter when I do get one. so bring on the porn im liking the ipv mini sofar. the chip is decent. liking the memory settings, that's a bonus. I wish the screen would stay lit for more than a split second after pressing the fire button my 510 came cockeyed but I wrestled it into submission all in all it's great for the price

Welp .. DHL just called to confirm delivery of the Robbot KF V4 for tomorrow. I want to kill my Mom though She picks up the phone while I am in the kitchen, listens to the whole DHL message, then hangs up and asked what is BHL? .. I wanted to get the tracking# off the recording because Robbot never sent it it me

So now I can't leave my house tomorrow until it shows up Pfft, after all this hoopla it better be good

Oh that is good to hear hun I have heard some reporting a crooked 510, but it seems that you got it worked out. The memory settings annoy me actually because I don't like how it goes right into memory mode every time I hit the plus button. I like the lines of the body, and the gold color is really pretty.

But err .. the SXmini I expect to surpass everything else that I have gotten this year, especially based on feedback. And the one thing that makes it really sweet is that I am getting this bad body ON MY TERMS, and not on Yihi's.

I think it is a good question and didn't get a very good answer. Cheryl not for a better spring, the name of Robbottech vs. Ehpro or Infinite, come on lets be realistic here. The name Robbottech does not demand that kind of price increase. Better than average, sure. But not that much better to warrant such a price point.

Really liking these 2 18650 box mods. 1st day at work with the Sigelei 100+ and I'm at 96%. Would be at 40% with the hana mini if I didn't keep it on the charger. It also drives my RBA/RTAs better

If they nail it, its worth the money. Its a complicated atty. I would pay $35 for a good one any day rather than $23 for a crappy one.

I am going to try the Nikkwick, or Nikkiwick whatever she calls it. The wick holes on this thing are ginormous, should have plenty of room for some silica inside of the mesh.

If they got it right, I'll gladly pay $35 to try it out. The authentic isn't in the cards for me right now, and I don't even know if I want it. If I were to buy the authentic and think meh about it, I'd lose more than $35 reselling it in the classies.

Yeeessss...but if its garbage you can't use, so what? A waste of time and money. If they all work well, then it will be a different story.

So far, from blowing up the photos and studying the machining, the Robbot is the only one thus far released that appears decent. I don't know yet though, of course. IF I were to buy one at this time, I would choose the Robbot based on what I see in the photos.

We know Nikki has the Robbot on its way. You buy one of the others, and we'll find out how they compare

I just remember buying the first, and cheapest SquapeR that came out. We call him Chucky . There's a reason. $28 and hours of my time, and he's in a box in the cupboard. Had I waited and spent $40 I could have had the EHPro clone, which does work. So, basically I flushed $28 and then some in all the parts I bought trying to fix it down the toilet. I would've been much better off spending $40 and having a working clone.
