Random FastTech post here, and to be honest, I don't even know if Focal sells it, but the Dominus is officially the best clone mech I've ever used.
A little back history here...
Way back in 2013 the Dominus mod was created. It was a segmented side fire mod that no one had ever heard of.
Fast forward a year and a half, three button and three tube revisions later, it got cloned. It's sold on FT as the "Fecit Style Mod." Not only is the clone a 1:1 copy (and I do mean that literally- every single piece of the authentic mod swaps with the clone), it also features the V1 single tube upgrade (Hilt upgrade) and the V3 switch (Lorde upgrade).
I know, you want photos. But first, let me explain what makes this mod great. Copper contacts. Self adjusting for battery rattle, and the spring that makes it that way is isolated from the current path. Single magnet switch, with zero plastic components in the switch mechanism. Hybrid top cap + regular vented top cap, and finally, for those who care, the engraving matches the authentic exactly.
Now I have a thing for brass, so after ordering the clone, I did a first (for me). I bought the brass upgrade kit direct from Dominus Mods (which, technically, would be a downgrade as the clone comes with copper) before I received the clone . The V2 tube is a single piece with hybrid 510 threading, so it's a couple of mm shorter than the clone's tube, which makes the mod the exact same height as a GP PAPS in 18650 mode.
Pretty amazing, huh?
Okay now to take some blurry photographs and add in some links once I'm on my computer...

I hooked my phone up to the wifi to save my data rate as I uploaded the pics to Dropbox, and forgot that my phone updates apps only when connected to my home wifi. Got about six months worth of updates, so I'll get pics up later today.
clone, with brass button installed (didn't want to swap back to copper for the pic)
