Important Spam Alert from USPS.com .. there are fraudulent emails in circulation claiming to be in regards to tracking, and shipment but contain link to malicious viral software that is capable of stealing your personal information when clicked.

So for all of you chronic tracking # stalker, BE AWRE! https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDocs/consumer/SpamAlert.pdf

I always get my tracking #'s from the website or known good emails and even then just copy them as text to a txt file. Then track them on the shipping site and bookmark it for easy access. Do I order too much stuff because I have a system?

Oh and I forgot ... Finally finished up my Tobeco KF4 photos and build and I have been vaping it since about 4pm, and its great. Now, I am much happier and pleased with the vape on this one, not sure if its because I am used to it now, and know how to better handle this ish. But me and the Tobeco KF4 are getting along very nicely :)

Good to hear. I have a black Tobeco coming Sat or Mon and one from FC too. The one I got from FT had the glass center section broken during transit. Disappointing since that was the way I planned on running it. Right now it's set up with the PMMA tank and with a new #16 o-ring, it's great and what I've been vaping the last week or so. I'll probably try a ni200 coil on the Tobeco.

One thing I have noticed on the Tobeco is that the juice holes on the chimney bell are about .2mm larger than the Robbot, just like the Tobeco juice holes were bigger on their Aqua V2 clone vs the authentic .. which is not a complaint, I think its beneficial to the vape. Absolutely ZERO complaints about the Tobeco so far, no fiddling, no leaks, no gurgles, just build and vape, so I am finally warming up to the KF4. :D

Tobeco has a blue version, Doris mentioned that she was thinking about getting it but I am not sure if she did.

Random FastTech post here, and to be honest, I don't even know if Focal sells it, but the Dominus is officially the best clone mech I've ever used.

A little back history here...
Way back in 2013 the Dominus mod was created. It was a segmented side fire mod that no one had ever heard of.

Fast forward a year and a half, three button and three tube revisions later, it got cloned. It's sold on FT as the "Fecit Style Mod." Not only is the clone a 1:1 copy (and I do mean that literally- every single piece of the authentic mod swaps with the clone), it also features the V1 single tube upgrade (Hilt upgrade) and the V3 switch (Lorde upgrade).

I know, you want photos. But first, let me explain what makes this mod great. Copper contacts. Self adjusting for battery rattle, and the spring that makes it that way is isolated from the current path. Single magnet switch, with zero plastic components in the switch mechanism. Hybrid top cap + regular vented top cap, and finally, for those who care, the engraving matches the authentic exactly.

Now I have a thing for brass, so after ordering the clone, I did a first (for me). I bought the brass upgrade kit direct from Dominus Mods (which, technically, would be a downgrade as the clone comes with copper) before I received the clone . The V2 tube is a single piece with hybrid 510 threading, so it's a couple of mm shorter than the clone's tube, which makes the mod the exact same height as a GP PAPS in 18650 mode.

Pretty amazing, huh?

Okay now to take some blurry photographs and add in some links once I'm on my computer...

I hooked my phone up to the wifi to save my data rate as I uploaded the pics to Dropbox, and forgot that my phone updates apps only when connected to my home wifi. Got about six months worth of updates, so I'll get pics up later today.

Phil covers the juice control on the authentic in this video at the 12 minute mark, maybe that will help you out.

Thanks that did help. When he first starts and goes no not here and then proceeds to show exactly where and what is being turned did it. And of course I was doing it at the incorrect spot ;)

I'm having major issues with my FT K4. Got my juice control working. Got all the o rings changed so no slow leak. But I need to get that 510 pin out to tighten those other parts in the base, and I can't. So my base is now very wobbly with resistance all over the map.

Ordered a Tobeco last night as I do like the vape. Going to make every effort to fix my other one.

Also got a Tobeco Prometey v2 clone yesterday, but the filler fluff was missing so haven't tried it yet. Finish and threads are very nice though. Tobeco really has upped their game. Funny they are the ones who nailed the k4. EHPro bunged a major component.

Hello,

Just got $37.84 HANAA MODZ Pack DNA 30 Style Mod - black yesterday in the mail and have run into some possible(?) issues...

Wanted to touch base with you all and see if these are issues or just something I am not doing correct.
Here Goes:

1) after 5-7 vapes or so I get a "Too Hot" message.
Have probably about 60 min vape time total (between last night and this morning) on it and have gotten this message around 6-7 times all ready.
Running a kayfun single coil (1ohm) at 18 watts

2) on the display never get a reading for V always says 0.0V.
Is this supposed to tell me the battery volt info? something else?

Just wondering if I got a bad unit or not.

Thanks.

Someone else was getting that too. Best advice take a video of the issue and send it to Doris or Eleven and ask for replacement.

I agree with Pclarity to do the video and exchange it.

As for the voltage reading, it will only show while you're pressing the fire button. As soon as you release it, it goes back to zero. That's normal for that chip.

Between the Zero and the ZNA clone and the iStick and the various Hana clones I'm not sure if this applies and all I have right here now is the Zero. But the Chinese chip design that's common to a bunch of these only shows voltage as you fire the box. Otherwise it shows zero. So that problem most likely is just "that's the way it works." The too hot problem OTOH, just make the video and get a replacement. In all the threads I've not seen a good fix that didn't involve more surgery and soldering than I'm willing to do.

That sucks about your FT KF hun .. I am trying to imagine how the 510 got stuck though, this is boggling my mind.

Quite honestly, I think Tobeco had previously gotten a bad wrap via clones of their clones ... and yes, Tobeco products have been cloned in the past, right down to their packaging. At least the newer clones of Tobeco clones have stopped reprinting their name, but when you playing the game of cloning authentics, there is no reason to think that as a cloner you are off limits to the same happening to you.

The Aqua V2 and the KF4 are the only two Tobeco products that I have ever owned or used, but I am thoroughly impressed with both. I vaped my first tank on the Tobeco KF4 dry like nobodies business. I also liked that Tobeco burned/polished the edges of their glass tank, although their glass tank section is thinner than Robbot's KF4.

I ordered two Robbot Kayfun V4s, one works perfectly, the second had the tight juice flow control problem some have mentioned. Turns out this unit was missing the larger of the two white plastic o-rings, part number 4 to be exact. So i took part number 4 from the good working unit but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. Also, if i tighten down part 9 and 1 it makes the juice flow control almost impossible to turn.

Eleven is sending me the missing part but i went ahead and ordered the authentic spare parts kit 3 which includes both white plastic o-rings (part 4 and 7) for $7 just to see if they will work with the Robbot clone. After installing both authentic plastic o-rings (4 and 7) the juice flow control on this unit is buttery smooth. I am now also able to fully tighten part 9 and 1.

Nikkit6: i noticed you mentioned you had the juice flow control problem in your review, maybe authentic spare part kit 3 will solve your problem too.
An interesting post on the KF v4:

Got the Wotofo ZNA, other then the loose fit between the caps and tube it looks pretty good, I got the cheaper one and expected I may have to do some tinkering so I'm not going to ....., I'm happy to have it. :) Nothing I can do for the loose fitting caps but I will fix the poor connection due to the coating on the threads of the main body and I'll tweak the throw of the fire switch so it will have more travel, it's a very short throw before it fires. I don't have any 18500 battery's, I'll wait for a good deal to pop up. I've been running it on a 18350 with a spacer I made and have been using it since yesterday after noon, it works just fine with my Protank's at 7 watt's. I'll wait until I get the top cap connection fixed before I try and crank it up on a dripper.

Got a couple questions for you folks that have one, can I change it from watt's to volt's and if so how? Secondly, didn't someone post pics of the ZNA striped down? Please don't go searching for the post or pics, just wondering if someone knew who and where then that would help narrow my search.
