Haku, dunno how necessary this is, but single coil on the Orchid, I just run half of my wick tails a little longer to reach the unneeded channels (I like to angle-cut and run the points a little into the channels).

I need nothing in return darling, remember you sent me your Orchid PMMA tank and original top cap .. this is payback dear ;-) FYI if they suck I'm sending them anyway

i think it's totally necessary to avoid flooding, and desired to achieve better wicking (better 4 fonts than 2 =)). will imitate that angle-cut and points into the channels.
and will do it also for the aqua 2, when it arrives =)))

SXmini, the one in gold, black, blue and silver with gold and blue getting dropped before even hitting "the shelves" so to speak? I really like the Zero. That's got a SX in the name, how does that relate?

I've been off the morphine from my bypass surgery for a full week but I swear I still get moments where I've got this brain pudding thing going on where nothing I'm thinking makes sense and external impressions all seem to be from alien worlds. I think you're thinking about the IPV mini that was supposed to cone in 4 colors. The SX mini is even more ZNA like in appearance so the confusion is understandable. Seems like several peeps have picked up an SX mini which I jealous of, even if $175 fell out of the sky into my lap I still probably wouldn't be able to get one without some unpleasant repercussions

I don't want to be a debbie downer but I cringe when every I see someone say they are using pipe or plumbing tape on their atty's. If that stuff should break down or tiny pieces make it's way into your juice it might be hazardous to you. I used a ton of that stuff over the years on both plumbing and when I was a auto tech, I have taken things apart that had that tape on it and I have seen it mushy and falling apart on the inside where you don't see it. Just me, but I would never use that stuff anywhere near where I could ingest it.

OK, I'll craw back into the shadows. Just please be careful, I like you guys and don't want to see you hurt yourself. We vape to be healthier.

Like right now I have this gorgeous SXmini right, and its the perfect time to review it .. but I have the Kayfun's, the Origen Genesis, the Hobo V2, SX Zero, Subtank, Geyser, Variant (which should have been done a long time ago), the IN'AX, Praxis'eses, Dimitri box, Yosen Zero V2, Erlkonigin, Sxmini, ZNA 50 ... this does not include what is in the air and soon to be shipped. Do the math, one review a week, where am I?

I am in April the year just started and my schedule is into April

Popping in for a quick post..

Remember those things called cartomizers? I still have a bunch of those sitting around, and the silicone top cap in the cartos have this little "nipple" on them. Cutting that nipple out with a little of the silicone around it also works great as a plug for the air-hole on the orchid's deck.

I couldn't stand the screws on the Orchid V4's build deck, and got rid of it.

Thats the IPV Mini, the SX Mini is YiHi's flagship to showcase their SX350 mini chip. IPV Mini is 30w and $50, SX Mini is 60w (120w with extension) and $189, they are worlds apart but easy to confuse the two by their names

Ok before we celebrate, WARNING ... THE 510 ON THE SXMINI IS SPRING LOADED IT IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE A SCREWDRIVER TO IT AND TRY TO ADJUST IT. IT WILL BREAK AND WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE SLOTTED HEAD IS NOT FOR ADJUSTING.. PLEASE BABY JESUS LET MY DARLING HAKU RECEIVE THIS MESSAGE.

received.. late. ouch, ouch, i took the screwdriver.. if i see a slotted head i assume it's to be adjusted. i read the provided sxmini instructions, and didn't find any info nor warning about the 510.
but good news: i did it carefully, and fortunately it isn't broken. so will never try to adjust from now on. thank you very much for the fast warning!

so if you notice any gap between the mod and the atomizer, just unscrew the battery bottom cover a bit, and then the 510 spring will have larger throw to be compressed. i wrote a stick with "NEVER SCREW THE SXMINI 510" on my monitor.

this community is amazing; people are usually alert and willing to share and help. i feel thankful and proud of belonging to it.

i was ready to order a high temperature (260ºC) resistant teflon tape. if the tape wraps the body of the screw, and its inserted into the hole, i guess that the screw head acts like a cover and prevents teflon particles to end over the deck; they would rather go down towards the exterior air hole.
however, if there is a remote chance to ingest teflon, and there are other possible solutions, better try them.

i've never seen a cartomizer in person (i'm a relatively recent vaper), but i think i know which are those nipples you are talking about. will check if any friend have some of them to give me, or will try to find similar nipples. i guess that their material have to resist high temperature (although they are going to stay far of the coil, except if unplugged).

Just wanted to stop in to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I've been MIA the lately but for good reason. My wife gave birth to our beautiful baby boy on Dec 28th.

I have some much vape mail just sitting in the packing still, Kayfun V4, N22, Infinite Zero clone, and the SX Mini which I wasn't even planning on buying should be delivered today.

Trying to keep up with the thread between feedings but sleep trumps all right now.

Most especially after two users reported yesterday that they broke their 510 connections whilst trying to adjust it with a screwdriver, and Yihi has already said they will not honor their warranty's because it was user error that caused the problem.

Then I saw that you were going to use the Magma I am dead serious when I say that I was invoking all the powers that Be to protect your device (true story) Serious panic darling, serious

I am thankful that you did not break it (never underestimate the power of prayer) .. por favor, no mas ... entiendas? *kiss*

Hello focalecig gurus! I've been ordering a few things lately but I wanted to ask for a bit of advice. I normally use kanger aerotanks or KFLs but I decided to try out a few different RTAs. I just ordered an Orchid V4 today but I'd also like to try another tank but I'm not sure which direction to go. I'm thinking about the "Amod/wotofo Air Style 8ml Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - Grey" (an Erlkönigin clone), the "Kayfun V4 style - Black", or maybe some version of the Fogger. There may be a better option than those on focalecig so I'm very open to completely different suggestions. I'd love something with a more open draw than my KFL V1 and V2. I prefer cooler lower watt vaping, around 7-12 watts, with tanks if that matters. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Also, did anybody get the email for 15% off yesterday? The code is 2015NEWYEAR and is only good today but I can't get it to work. No biggie though.

yihi could be demanded for not covering that issue. there is not information about the 510 management in the manual. so, again, they are acting arrogantly. they can give thanks for their product is an star, so people are willing to forgive them, the self-crowned kings of chips (using your words )
