I'm not sure what the heck happened with my Nano... I did a cotton build this afternoon (which didn't work very well), went to take it back out, and now my top cap won't thread onto the atty base at all. Threads are clean, I wasn't drunk (at that point in time), and nothing seemed obviously amiss. But, now, I can't put it back together. It's completely F'd. Not a huge deal as my Nemmy hybrid parts should arrive soon and I plan on running the Nano tube with a Derringer.

I left it at work so I'll at least have a two day break before it laughs at me again.
I'm not super concerned but it would be nice to salvage the dripper. If not, meh, no biggie.For some reason I decided tonight was a good time to rebuild all my drippers and tanks. I'm sure my wife will be super thrilled to step on all the Kanthal bits which have been flying around all evening. Wish I could blame it on the dog.

Looks good nice collection. How do you set your Orchid up, I got mine today and I am running 30g twisted 10 wraps @ 1 ohm. Its vaping ok but I think the coils may be too large and I have restricted the air flow. It is wicking good @ 25-30 watts but the coils take up the whole deck pretty much. Or anyone else can chime in.
I don't know for sure but I'm guessing it is Moander simply based on what I could find on Alibaba. There were also a couple of sets which appeared to be the same selling on Ebay for ~$35. I sold mine for $30 shipped. I had no use at all for the 18500 and 18350 tubes so I considered it a win to get the $30 which I quickly turned into the Le Petit Gros/Hobo combo, lol.

I've had four SMPL clones (still have two) and will be buying a couple of the OGs when my annual bonus hits in a couple of weeks. Only problem is finding the damn things in stock. Epic Design Studios used to have an exclusive distribution deal with The Vapor Lair and it was super hard to catch them in stock. VaporDNA and Planet of the Vapes are the new distributors as of a few days ago... they have both since sold out. i just have to catch them at the right time, I guess. And people wonder why clones are so popular. I want to give these guys my money but they can't ever seem to have enough product.
Yea they are a pretty sweet mod. I think I want them all, brass, copper, SS, black, whatever.
My black one is all scratched up now. I use it a lot, but I don't think the finish is all that durable. Tough little mod though - I knelt on mine a bunch of times (haha lost it in bed) and it split at the seam at the top cap. Hammered it back in and keeps working like new.
And the switch needed some polishing on the inside. It was really flaky and crunchy at first, but butter smooth now. Brass switch will probably be the same, but that's what I want next...
With all the talk about the wheel I decided to give it a try again. Two spins, won a $10 gift certificate. I'm thinking of giving the Taifun V2 a try but are there any other suggestions for atomizers. I've tried the Erl-whatevertherestofthenameis, Rose V2, Squape Reloaded and Tobeco Kayfun V4. Like them all except the Erl. Perhaps I should ask if the coupon works on the USA warehouse section or just China based purchases?

My main Orchid build is 8 wraps of 28ga. around a 2mm for 0.7 ohms. I also use 27ga. for a 0.55 if I want a little more heat and/or a 2.4mm if I want more wick. For the wick I use KGD if I'm only going to use 1 or 2 tanks of a particular liquid, or rayon if I want it to last. With rayon I trim the bottom 2/3 of the wick so the tail is on top and fold it under, so far no leaks with this technique.
I don't have a Zero, but I LOVE tastefully done cutouts. How cool is this?
