Fogger V4!!

My name is awsum140 and I'm a Fogger V4.1 junkie!

I've gotten addicted to this thing after struggling through about a month of poor performance. Now, I'm refilling it more than once a day. I've overcome the crappy coil screw problem, improved the air flow control ring and will be drilling out the horizontal air holes to 2.5mm tomorrow and take some more off the air control ring. I just ordered three more of them, one for my wife, one as a gift and a spare for me. I've succumbed to RTAs, I hope there is mercy for my soul.

I swapped the screws out to cheese head screws, sort of a mini binding head, and added 1.6mm SS flat washers. I may try drilling though the posts when I have it apart to drill out the air channels tomorrow. That would probably be an even easier way to coil it.

Thanks awsum! I agree, drilling out the post holes would be the best option, but I do not have the skills of AMDTrucking and I am afraid to try.

Interesting color choices. Does angelcigs still charge crazy shipping? When they did their site wide price reduction and did away with free shipping it was $4.95 for 1, $8.95 for 2 for parcel post plain unpadded envelope shipping. Over on VU they're saying its because their USA presence is just a drop shipper who charges by weight.

Nice work, AMD! I was thinking about gently grinding the deck down away from the air holes, but jets to raise them is also a good possibility. So did you make the jets or use a stock piece and mill it to fit?

What galls me is that this kind of stuff, effectively raising the air holes, holes through the coil posts or even washers under the coil screws are such obvious and easy things to do when manufacturing these things rather than leaving it to the end user to fix their mistakes.

Speaking of which, fasttech has been blowing my mind. I've had 13 packages this last 3 weeks, and every single one of them arrived between 7 and 10 days. That's mad impressive.

No, I turned them from a piece of 304 Stainless Steel rod and threaded them into the deck very snug.
