Smaller deck yes, but its still raised. Also the most recent design does not allow you to vape all the liquid in the tank. Very different IMO

The deck height of the new V4.1 looks to be the same as the V4.3, and I've manage to get every last drop out of mine! (I usually try to fill it up before it gets that low) There's hardly any volume at that level anyway, like 5-6 drops, maybe. Of course, this is all specualtion: nobody actually has one of those yet.

Hah! Next time I have some money, I'll go get a tap and another bit for where the o-ring will go, plus some screws and o-rings. BTW, mine didn't come with a replacement o-ring for the fill hole, just a bunch of the small chimney ones. Any idea where I can get those?

If I'm not mistaking they are M2.0 - 0.4 You could get 100 of them for $5.00 here: Stainless Steel Machine Screw, Plain Finish, Pan Head, Phillips Drive, 4mm Length, M2-0.4 Threads (Pack of 100): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

These are 4.0 mm long screws you could use to replace almost every bad (non stainless) screw that come in every fast tech RDA and RBA.
Don't feel bad. You stripped them not because you are sloppy, but because YiLoong drills their holes too wide and their threads are not full threads and super easy to strip.

I keep an endless supply of Tappers and Stainless Steel Screws for that reason. I re-thread them one size bigger when they strip.
All my Chinese Kayfuns have 1.7 mm Screws instead of 1.6 mm original, and most of my 2.0 mm Screws have been replaced with 2.5 mm by me:

Here is an example of me re-threading my Helios:
This is when I discovered that the Center Post is made out of chromed brass.

Would I need to re-thread anything to use these screws? (I've never done that before, so yeah)

Also, just looking at them they look a bit long... Will they still fit without me having to do anything?

The positive and negitive post are M1.6 x .35, but you might be able to salvage the holes that are in it by going to a M1.7 x .35. If the 1.7 doesn't work, then you'll have to drill and tap it for M2 x .4

Yes, you are right. They are M1.6 - 0.35 in a small Fogger and M2.0 - 0.4 in a Big Fogger

Got the revised fogger from the frog. 6 days shipping including weekend, with DHL express

510 screw is copper.
Deck is raised.
Better machinig of the wick channels, but still the same size.
Afc ring is a bit tighter, but still loose.
Small chimney.
Easy to fill, unlike v4.3
Came in fancy pancy box, far better then the previus plastic tray.

One and a half thumbs up

Edit: says v4.0 on the box , and only fogger on the chimney

Well that first tank went fast. Stripped it down and all good. Rewicked Kayfun style (same coils, 0.5 ohm), and now vaping on 75VG/25PG juice (Alpha Vape - Manchu) and it's still rocking it, though I'm not sure if it's the wicking setup or the higher VG, but the flavor is a little muted this run around. Will probably go back to skinny legs after this tank is through and run the same juice through.

Lol whut?

For all intents and purposes, im not sure "very different" is necessarily accurate lol

It depends what did you strip exactly... If you just stripped the threads on your screw, you might get away by just simply replacing it.
As far as the length is concerned, do not judge by the picture (they just use a random screw image). Those M1.6 mm screws and they are 4mm long. Work for Kayfun. If they are a little long for you, you could sand them down. But if you stripped the female threads of the deck, which I doubt because it is very hard to strip what is hardly there, then you will have to re-thread it a little bigger.

The material the deck is produced from is far better than the material the screws are made out of. Chances are the screws will strip out before the deck, so new screws will probably fix it. If you can get the longer screws that he linked you to, then you're in business, because there will be fresh threads deeper in those holes that the shorter screws never touched....but I would still order the M1.7 screws while I was at it.

edit: DO NOT TRY TO FORCE A LONG SCREW IN A SHALLOW HOLE! If you do, and it seizes, immediately toss your Fogger in the garbage and order a new one...There's no (cost effective way) to fix it.

I'm 99.9% certain it's the screws that are stripping, since I have my last replacement in and it's working fine. I'll look into the m1.6's, what kinda local shop would they be in so I can check for the fit etc? Would that be a hobby shop or home depot?

Ace seems to be the best choice for a national chain hardware store if you want Metric screws and the like. I found M5 set screws there for extended pins for my Nemesis top caps. Hobby shops, if they have anything, will most likely have just English sizes.
