Check the price right now, LOL. I take it he ran out but wants to maintain the listing.

Dood, that's freak'en nuts considering there are other buy-it-now auctions out there for the regular price! :? (Fogger V4 Rebuildable Atomizer (RDA/RBA) Version 4 - Fogger V4 RBA)

I picked up two, one for me and one for a friend. They came in last night and I IMMEDIATELY built one up to use. All I can say is that this has turned into my favorite tank so far, with my AIOS at number 2. The only issue I have with mine so far is that the AFC ring is loose and won't stay in place, but considering I want it all the way open all the time, I just might take it off or use a very thin o-ring to keep it still.

The deck on the V4 is just like a combination of the kayfun/russian mixed with the aqua. The wick channels are smaller than the ones on the aqua but they still fit a cotton wick just fine. As I said on the "It's happened, the AQUA has been CLONED" page, you can easily over-stuff the wick channels so be careful how much cotton you use. You'll use less than you think you'll need :?

That being said, I've had no leaks so far and the fill hole works flawlessly.

I like my Fogger V4 now, got a better wick going with 2 strands of 2mm ekowool. But I can only see 1mm ekowool fitting in the wick holes.

The airflow control is very flexible and great, dual airholes allow for very big draw. I just have to find some way to keep it from spinning so easily. Don't got a thin o ring.
One of the reviewers put a small piece of tape under the air ring to make it stay.

I got mine last night and got to work on my first dual coil bid. After a few failed attempts (was in the sub-ohm range), I ended up getting a 1.2 ohm coil with 28 gauge A1 Kanthal. Everything works great on it except for the AFC ring as others have mentioned. I did see the review that suggested plumbing tape to make it a more firm turn to get it to open/close.

Having said that, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The flavor is a bit muted when I fully open the holes, but a half open hole works great for me. The only thing I wish I had done was to use a 30 gauge wire rather than the 28 gauge. I currently have my Provari cranked up to 4.2V and it still takes a while to heat up the coils. I'm thinking a 30 gauge wire at 1.4-1.5 ohms would be really nice. I'll probably stop by my B&M and pick some up today after work.

With a dual coil setup, what gauge wire are you all using? Also, if I had a 32 gauge twisted setup, what would that equate to (i.e. 28 or 30 gauge)?

(Assuming my state-funded math education has not failed me.....)

Without taking into consideration the amount of twists, and assuming a perfect doubling of wire, you would end up with roughly .55ohms/inch in a 32g (1.1ohms/in) twisted coil. Smack dap in the middle between 30g (.70/inch) and 28g (.44/inch).

Mine actually arrived a day early !! :p

Cleaned her up, wired up a dual 6 wrap of 28g, coming in at .5ohms. Threaded P&C yarn through, filled up with Lemon Loves Cake from AiV. My AFC ring is absolutely perfect, no looseness at all. Wide open, it's like regular breathing, no restriction at all.

Too bad my freaking wife gave her damn head cold, and I can't smell/taste hardly at all right now. Good vapor production, can't imagine what kind of clouds this thing will produce with a higher VG blend.

Only a slight aggravation: I could not remove the bottom ring (above the AFC) no matter how I tried. Maybe that is why my AFC ring is tight.

OK guys, semi-serious odd question? Without vaping everything in the tank, how in da heck do we drain this thing without spilling everywhere?

With my head-cold right now, I'm not positive, but think I may have taken a dry hit or two, and now have a possible burn spot on my wick. Would like to drain and disassemble to see, with out wasting what little juice I have left....Anxiously waiting my next order of juice in the mail.

Either pour it into a cup through the tiny fill hole, or open it up and pour it into a cup, or use a syringe.

A question: I still have the 0.8 Ohm 30ga 10 wrap dual mico coil setup in my Fogger V4. I have to vape it at 15 watts mostly (depending on battery charge) and it has a kind of "foamy" feel to it when I vape, when I start to draw it goes from silent to "foamy" boiling to the usual "crackling" that I know. It works and vapes really great, but it feels, well, "foamy". Weird.

Is this normal? Or just dependent on my coil setup? Like I said it vapes and tastes great. Is the foaminess actually good for flavor production?

Reading your post above about your setup, I thought this might happen. Everyone has a different experience so by no means am I trying to dictate :) I've just noticed with my Aqua I'll get dry hit and burnt spots if I go lower than .7Ω Right now my Fogger V4 is at .784Ω with a dual 9/10 wrap micro of 28ga.
