Reading your post above about your setup, I thought this might happen. Everyone has a different experience so by no means am I trying to dictate :) I've just noticed with my Aqua I'll get dry hit and burnt spots if I go lower than .7Ω Right now my Fogger V4 is at .784Ω with a dual 9/10 wrap micro of 28ga.

I don't doubt that at all, I just happened to hit .5 when wrapping, and didn't feel like wrapping two new coils. Since I can't really taste anything right now anyway, I'll just finish this tank off and then see if it is actually burned. Probably be a good idea to open it up after the first tank, to see what is going on in there.

I had the same problem with getting the ring off the bottom. Based on the Todd's Review I watched, it should come off. I tried with a set if pliers and bent it up really bad. Still never got it off. It is supposed to come off is it not???? I have another problem with mine. I tried to empty it with a 14g needle that I use on my KFL+ and it would not go in. I had to dump all the liquid. When I got it opened, it appears that the chimney partially covers the opening for juice when it is attached and will not let anything other than a very small needle to go thru. Not sure if this is only mine or if it is a problem with the design. Todd seemed to be able to make it work. I also hate the AFC. It is nearly impossible for me to find the perfect draw. With the V2, I could do it in the dark as I knew exactly how much to turn the ring to get to my setting. Not sure I am going to stick with this one. To bad too as I love the concept. It is so easy to set up dual coils with this.

Where did everyone get theirs from? I know fast tech has them but don't want to wait too long.

Also, I'm in canada.

I got mine from Site de cigarette électronique, meilleur site de e-liquide en ligne - le petit vapoteur and I think they do ship internationally. I have to say that I have not yet vaped on it since I have a few tanks to go through beforehand. But a few things I noticed about this RBA is that: it ...is cheap, looks good, has good features, is badly manufactured (fill hole slot damaged), is very dirty on arrival.

I'll give it a shot when I see fit, until then I vape happily on my other "things"

I use a pretty thick gauge needle and I have no trouble draining the fogger v4 with it....much easier than my various Kayfun clones. I couldn't for the life of me get the bottom ring off either. I found the AFC a little too loose for my taste. What I did was get a sewing thread and used it just like dental floss and got it to go under the AFC. I wrapped it a couple of time under the AFC and then cut the excess off. So basically you can't see at all but it is there under AFC acting like a washer. This made the AFC a lot stiffer....so once you set it it won't move on its own....you have to deliberately move it for it to move at all. I hope this helps.

good tip. never thought of that one!

now I can get that o-ring off there.

BTW, King of Queens mentioned his was not clean but the one I got from Sweetvapes was super clean and had no visible machine oil or smell whatsoever. The fill hole is slightly obstructed on mine as well from the design but I still can get my 18gauge luer lock tip in there no problem. I think a 16 gauge may have issues though.

Mine was perfectly clean, too. Fill hole is definitely obstructed, though. Not sure if it is from the chimney, will drain and check when I get home from work. My needle (think it is 16g -purple luer-lock-) will not fit more than a 1/4 inch or so. Even my U-Can needle doesn't go in very far.

Here is my V4 in parts with original wicks and coils, don't use them if possible.

It is amazing how much of a difference just a snippet of cotton makes. First build, I had the cotton yarn sticking down a little too far. Not exactly filling the whole channel, but obviously enough to choke it off. Cleaned it up, rewicked and made sure the cotton is just poking to the bottom of the vertical channels, and this thing is hitting like a beast.

So my fogger is giving me a dry cotton hit every third toke, how the heck do you wick this thing. I am ready to throw it in the trash!!

This is similar to my MISTer by VJ Mods and I found that you should only put the cotton approx half way down the vertical channel and it'll wick so much better. Hope that helps. Also remember, less is more.

Thanks, I will give that a shot.

After a few hours... I got it, what a difference!!
