Well, it had possibilities, but the fogger fails from the beginning.!!!!

Broke it down, cleaned it up and even created a new juice for it. Wrapped some coils, went to tighten the positive post screw, fraking post strips out. pos. Plus the very narrow screw heads and posts, makes for securing the wires a pita to begin with. So, if I can't tap out the positive post it's garbage.

Really pisses me off, this is the last fogger I will ever purchase, both ones I've owned, have had cheap ... screws and posts, and turned out to be garbage. At least with the V2 I was able to vape it for a week or so before the screw broke inside the post mount making it garbage, didn't even get a chance to wick my coils let alone whet my whistle.

Yeah, had great potential but is a total failure because of cheap azz threads and screws. Think I'll go buy another $200 Authentic rba, least that way know I'll be able to get a great vape.

All is not lost though, least I have 2 perfectly good coils, need to put a new build in my Taifun GT. lmao. Fogger = cheap crap

Sorry to hear. Well build quality really isn't that great, but hey it IS an authentic RTA :p Just a cheap one! Where exactly did the post break? I noticed that on the newest one the positive post that sits on the isolated block is milled off a bit at his foot, where he joins the block. That can't be good.

Anyway it's probably just a manufacturing defect in the steel or milling, just send it back for replacement. That's what warranty is for. Quality control would be nice but also more expensive, so replacing a defective unit sometimes is a really annoying hassle, but it's no reason to write off the design. Because you won't find any other RTA out there with the same features. I do hope some will "clone" the Fogger V4 though and improve upon it.

Somebody knows how to recognize the "v4++" ?
I don't see any mention of it on Yiloong's website and alibaba page.

The newest fogger has a bigger build chamber. You can see it even if assembled, it's a good 2mm bigger in diameter. Disassembled you'll see that the post seem much further in the middle of the build deck while before they where practically at the edge of the build chamber.

I don't have any previous version to compare to, I'm getting my first fogger sometimes this week.

Well I just build my third Fogger V4.2 / ++ for the first time and I hate it. My biggest problem is that you are unable to fill the tank properly through the infill screw, liquid goes up the infill hole again and makes a huge mess. Similarly, you can't drain the tank properly if needed, since you can't insert a blunt needle tip into the tank anymore.

I also tried out a new build on my eVic S with 0.4mm kanthal (26ga), 9.5 wraps at 0.7 ohm around a 3.2mm. The wicking doesn't work with 2 strands of 2mm ekowool and it heats up way too slowly even at 30w, and tastes burned. I'll go back to my previous build but in any case this latest revision is definitely a step back. Will try to return it and wait for the next revision. This latest one sucks.

I seriously doubt they were concerned with the fill hole and that little sliver of metal, that was absolutely a non-issue: it didn't hurt anything! The larger build deck is probably what they were after. More room for longer coils and more room for wicks to make the turn into the wick channels, I'm looking forward to that part. But I'm NOT looking forward to the new fill hole. I've already decided I'll add a new fill hole on the top if it's too much of an issue. (Too bad everyone else with a V4.2 doesn't own a machine shop)

I'm assuming it addresses the thin wall on the fill hole that everyone way crying about.
I'll take the fubar'ed hole over "unusable fill hole"

Your probably right....but why not make the fill hole a fraction smaller and be done with it....why the radical change in design? Don't they test their products before releasing them? It really bothers me when companies release products without testing them out thoroughly... I hope this new version is big flop for them so they learn their lesson.

The Fogger is a $30 dollar product with a fundamental design that will probably be obsolete in just a few months. I don't have a problem with a product like this one being released before it's absolutely 100% evolved and perfected. The changes they're making aren't game changers, they're just improvements. My first V4 still works better than the (expensive) atty it was copied from, and WAY better than any Genesis I've owned, so I was happy to get it when I did. I have enough of these to keep me happy for now, so I probably won't be buying another one unless there's a major improvement I just can't live without. But when the next big concept comes along, you can bet these will probably go in the draw with all my other outdated hardware.

post didn't break, threads stripped out when just doing the first light tightening when mounting. The V2 I have, the screw twisted off when trying to unscrew the screw for a new build.

Well, kind of disagree, it may be authentic, but it's a copy of several rba's, like the Aqua, but without juice control and decent mounting posts, and a bit of the Tailfun GT, and some Kayfun mounting blocks, almost. lmao. But yeah, with the right posts, and juice control on a quality build, would be worth it.

I'd send that bitcch back. I bet you'll get a new one

Yeah, sure they will, but will probably be cheaper and better to mod it myself with some quality parts. Need to go to the hardware store anyways. lol. Thinking of getting the Aqua replacement repair pack and use that.

yeah but it's been evolving for a year, guess should of waited for it to totally be evolved, lmao.

Got mine today, hits ALOT like a dripper, flavor isn't as sharp and condensed as my Kayfun but the vapor is huge.

That's where the $30 part comes into play. I HATE the cheap screw and post setup on these things.

My first few tank fills were great. On the 3rd or 4th, it started massively flooding out the air holes. I don't know if it was over filled or what. I'll be cleaning it and rebuilding some time this week or this weekend. I'm not sure what might have gone wrong.
Probably pushed at least 2 of the wicks out of their channels. I've done that a couple of times, once when filling with a syringe, and once when taking really hard primer hits because I had too much cotton. Oh yeah, and another time when I forgot to put wicks in the damn thing...there was bourbon involved in that one.

On my latest build I used a lot of cotton, I tossed the xc -116, I still have it in a r91 but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Anyways I feel like it took about half a tank to get ripping correctly, like it had to suck the cotton into the right place, could be totally wrong.
This build is 0.4ohm and I'm starting to get flavor loss I'm thinking this is a bit lower than it likes. I'll cut the wicks and see when I get bored.
