Fogger V4!!

I'm not sure how I did it, but I've managed to vape 20+ml of Boba's without having to re-wick and clean the coils. I've never had that kind of results before, with any build, in any atty! The most Boba's I've ever vaped cleanly is probably around 10ml. My guess is the coil is staying good and satuated, so it's not burning and gunking it all up?...(dual 28ga x 2.2dia x 8 wraps, .69 ohms, regulated 20watts, lots of cotton sitting on the deck only)

Right now i have 4 strands of twisted 32 gauge 9 coils on a 4.5 mm drilbitt. Its ohming at 1 ohm on my hana30 clone. Got the big deck version.
Question is can i substitute the twisted 4 strands with a 24 gauge kanthal A1? will it fit under the screws?

By the way for some reason bigger diameter coils are giving me bigger clouds. I have vaped about 15 mils with this setup.

I received my second one yesterday and it was a 4.3. I got a good dual coil on it and the flavor and vapor is great. But that tip that comes with it is piiful! Neither one sits right and is very loose.
I never bought a drip tip before. So tell me, what would pair good with the Fogger?

If it's too hot get a delrin tip or something not metal, if you like the one if cane with but it's wobbly try a different Oring.

Another option I've seen mentioned but haven't tried myself is dental floss. Wrap or two in the slot for the o-ring then put the o-ring back. It should make it fit more snugly.

Took my AFC ring and sanded each side down about .015 per side for a total of .030 narrower. It's not completely open but about 7/8's and no noticeable difference in look. Could probably sand more off to get it completely open but I got tired of sanding. I really think this thing needs the wick channels milled about the same to allow more wicking material to go into it as well.

there most likely is an issue with your set up if your drip tip is getting so hot your feeling it. right now I just took off my drip tip all together and chain vaping right from the tank, no heat at all. have also heard this about the aqua tank and how a lot of people think its a great atty but it gets really hot. I also own an aqua and just like the fogger I have them set up at about .4Ω and both run cool with no heat at all. i find that coil width and diameter and wire connections play a big part in heating issues

no problem, the next time i change out the cotton i will post some pics, that should be in 2 days. is yours getting hot? if you really think about it why would it unless the connections are loose or maybe the coil is so high its almost touching the top of chimney or the coil is really wide and extremely close to the edge of chimney, if the drip tip is getting really hot then this is why. if the coils are of the correct size, width wise and height and is not really close to the chimney, the heat shouldn't transfer especially once its saturated with juice, also airflow should cool any heat to the chimney by the time the heat reaches the top part. i also find proper connection on the posts to be important. i only wrap the leads 3/4 the way around posts so minimal wire is trapped, when done one lead is trapped around screw and the other lead sits on top of the first lead. i don't like wrapping one lead around post where it comes back onto itself and then the other lead is around that wire for over a full turn. for me the least wire trapped the better, it just makes for a tighter and better connection. also getting the wires trapped as soon as possible is also better. i have seen some set ups where the leads kind of meander around the outside of screw before actually going under the screw and getting trapped, this also is not a very good connection. and lastly if the connection is loose it does and will make the atty hot because the leads will heat all the way to the posts, its like hot legs, if the connections are tight the heat stops there and doesn't continue but if the wires aren't mashed together onto themselves properly and are not tight the heat can continue all the way to the posts, which then leads to everything getting hot.

With the fogger I can go at it with 23 watts and it just warms up but doesn't get hot

well the vapor getting hot vs the device getting hot is 2 different things. i agree with the vapor feeling hot in the kayfun, maybe it has something to do with the design. alot do feel like the kayfun is a hot vape but i think this refers to the intense TH given which i agree with, i do love the TH in the kayfun for sure but there again the kayfun itself doesn't get hot, i mean by touch.

makes sense, a small chimney equals a more intense TH.

Also generally creates more flavor add their is less area for air thus reducers in some attys used to up flavor, on the bottom feeder I made, I also made my own top cap that is 22mm Od but has a reduced chamber that's so small the flavor is off the charts...
That being said the difference between the 4.3 and previous versions I thought wood be noticeable due to the increased deck/chimney size but it's not really, but the kf is very small and that's one of the factors that make it a flavor maker.
