Thanks for the responses.

Another thing to check when you have it apart is the vertical and horizontal air holes. I found a long spiral metal chip left from the drill bit in one of vertical holes in mine, that could hold juice in the hole. It's a long shot that's the problem but it will only take a few seconds to check and make sure.

Aha, looks like this was the issue. First checked out all my o-rings but everything was definitely making a solid seal. Then removed my perfect coils and with a flashlight on the airhole exit, could look down from the deck and see some kinda metal, and this was on both air holes. It's as if there was metal still attached at the hole inside there. It took a combination of jamming a 1/16" drill bit in and out of the exit holes to expose it in the other one, and feeding my little screwdriver down the deck side and twisting to work it all out along with a paperclip to bust anything sticking.

Proceeded to fail rebuilding the dual coils and having to make two more, only to make one of my ugliest dual setups yet that added a full 0.1ohm that isn't normally there, wicked with rayon into the channels again, and ho boy is she performing now. Tightened the draw up and have yet to experience any gurgling.

Now thinking of taking the others apart and checking the air holes.

Has anyone done sleeper coil type builds on these? I'm really fed up with trapping two separate coils under screws and seems like it may be alot easier to wrap one coil with an extra long leg, wrapping that side to a screw, then just winding the other side and only having to worry about trapping both under one screw with the other safely secure.

I really want to cut it down, eliminate the smooth portion on one edge, so it still has the knurl and smooth section on top. I may just drill it, or more likely, use a Dremel and cutting bit to produce a tapered sort of slot, but the best way would be to cut the ring down.

With the ring off I sound like Darth Vader, minus the click, on each inhale. Gotta make those holes just a tad bigger. Maybe I'll work up the nerve to take a speed controlled drill to it IF I can clamp it securely without damaging the base.

Do you mean like this:

My V4.2 has 2.4mm vertical air holes, so I drilled the horizontal holes the same size. My 4.1 has 2.6mm verticals so I made the horizontal holes 2.6 also. There's a substantial difference in the draw, and I'm not sure which one I like better, but they're both way better than original.

And as far as the AFC ring not causing an issue, it's seems they aren't cutting a generous champher on the inside of them on the newer versions, so there's a pretty huge restriction! That' seems really stupid to me. I really liked how the air holes on the older versions were hardly noticable, yet totally functional. Now it just makes it look like a dumb design.

You could try this method if you don't want to risk messing up your AFC ring or the external threads. I just drilled the vertical holes straight through from the top. I did it this way because I didn't want to mess up the black finish and have bare stainless showing through. With this method you have to be careful not to drill too deep to avoid hitting the 510 threads

Sure. I'll snap a couple of the Lemo, too. For a better comparison, I was planning on re-wicking both of my go-to tanks soon, but this damn Eleaf Lemo just keeps going and going! I want to do side by side with fresh wicks because my fogger had wicks that were a couple of days old when I compared them last time.

What do you people think of this new 22mm Tobh (like) dripper with 3.8 Ml Pyrex Tank?

It is E. H. Pro original Pontus RDA. You do have to push down on the Drip Tip to wet your Wicks every once in a while, like in 3D.

There's a thread on that already. I have a v1.5 and am disappointed. Doesn't drip out of the drip holes correctly, the draw is kind of tight, and the top cap under the drip tip is a juice catcher that I have to blow out every 3 hits.

On a side note, I have a newfound love for my fogger. Did a dual 28ga 3/32 9 wrap 1.0ohm build wicked with rayon and sitting at 30w on my DNA clone. Loving every second of it.

LINK PLS! I've been looking for one!

I just got home and found your two Fogger bases have arrived safely.

This is what I've done with them: (I hope you like it)

I also wanted you to try my favorite Fogger build. I made it 0.7 Ohm because, I've noticed that was the resistance of your original 28 Gauge coils. If 0.6mm Flat Ribbon coils will not get damaged during shipping - try them, see if you like them. Also notice how long will your battery last with these coils.
If you don't like them, just do what we've always do to pre-built atomizers.
