I had already reached that conclusion, aided by a micrometer. That, to me, is the biggest failing of the VTR. The size of the tank is too limited, but the it was designed before the popularity of rba/rta's. Short of a squonker, the form factor is the best, at least to me.

Based on the fact that you use it, and on a VTR, I just ordered one. Let's see how fast SlowTech gets it here, LOL.

But even for 21mm tank, you'll still have to widen your VTR ring.

IMHO: Dual coil RTA's (Ithaka, Aqua, Fogger, Orchid, Billow) are NOT the best choice for Innokin iTaste VTR because, unless you want to deal with ridiculous flimsy 32 gauge coils, it is hard to get decent performance at 15 Watts.

I routinely work with those "flimsy" 32 gauge coils and use 33 and 34 gauge as well, depending of the particular re-build requirements. The build on my VTR, at the moment, is a net 1.9 ohms of 32 gauge, NR-R-NR. I am going to rebuild it though, it has about 60ml through it and it's starting to show signs of lower performance.

Wicking can be more of a challenge, but finesse develops with time and patience. I will admit to walking away a few times to keep fro getting overly frustrated though.

I guess I'll be picking up a brake hone to take some of the ring off. 21mm isn't too bad and will leave enough material to be at lest somewhat functional.

somewhat functional?

It is fully functional and strong enough to support the tank.

And the Erlkonigin, you won't have to remove the tank from the Mod to re-fill it:

Although, it is always a good idea to shut the airflow down when re-filling from the top. IMHO

I like that an 18 gauge needle fits the refill hole, too. I'm not at my desk, so I can't see my notes on the VTR ring diameter and thickness, but from the photo it looks pretty substantial after modification. Thanks for the air flow tip, I'm usually messy anyway.

It is a 16 gauge needle 1/16 in (1.6mm)

I don't know about you people, but I needed a grip tool to unscrew a part of my atomizer that is stuck and doesn't want to be unscrewed by hand.
Something that will get a good grip on it without damaging the finish.

I couldn't find one. So I took a Vise-Grip and 22mm grinding stone and made me one. Yes, I put a layer of paper there to prevent any scratches.

Take a look at this: EVKOO Vapor Flask V2 40W Clone $65.00 Shipped

I know nothing about this one (other then I have placed an order for one 20 - 30 days shipping from China)
I'm sure it doesn't have an authentic Evolv DNA40 in it, but for $65.00, even if I will have to purchase DNA40 ($60.00) - I'll end up with Vapor Flask for $125.00

Mini Fogger mod time: Without modifications this tank was unvapable for me...I like them airy!

More air!

Less metal = more air

Not exactly a direct path to the coil, but the chamber is so tiny it doesn't seem to matter

This little tank is the best tasting vape I've ever had, including my drippers! Coil is 28awg x 2.2mm @ 1.4ohms, vaping at 20watts regulated, and of course, wicked with Rayon
