Fooling myself?

I currently vape 24mg strawberry menthol pretty much exclusively. I like it and stick to it being a somewhat simple dude. I decided to check into diy and was getting a headache from all the math (I think the various chemicals I exposed myself to in the 70's and 80's made math difficult for me ).

On further examination, I found some 48 mg nicotine, in either pg or vg. Now, it I get that in say pg, get some pure vg and get some pg strawberry and pg menthol and, say, mix 50% of the nic, 35% of the vg, 10% of the strawberry and 5% of the menthol (and play with the flavor mixes until I get what I want) I should have 65/35 pg/vg 24mg strawberry menthol, right? Can it be that easy? I priced everything and man, even going with the 48% instead of playing math games with the stronger nic stuff, I can't believe how much cheper it is!

Also, how long will this stuff last shelf-life wise? Can I stock up a bunch or just buy so much at a time?

Shelf life on juice can be a year or two. And yes DIY is that simple. Its just nailing your flavour percentages that takes time. Unless ya get lucky. Remember you need to stack your flavours.

You can buy as much as you want, put it in glass bottles and store it in the freezer for years. Making your own menthol from crystals (ECX has them) will make it even less expensive, and yeah, it's pretty much that easy except for lots of us who like to fool around and chase flavors and play mad scientist. <me. lol

Yeah, you're good. Just don't vape the 48 mg nicotine undiluted or undermixed -- and read the stickies in this forum. Also don't expect your initial juices to match purchased quality. A lot of what you're buying is their expertize. Enjoy the ride!
