I'm new to the forum, like TODAY, and all this vv, mvp ego-t and k100 stuff is so confusing! I haven't even figured out how to use my new eGo-CE4 to start my "quit smoking cigs" ways. HELP?

Welcome to the forums. Its fairly simple first charge your Battery, Unscrew the mouth piece tip Fill up your CE4 with the juice you have make sure you take your time so you don't get juice into the center tube. I hold the CE4 at an angle, direct the bottle tip between the center tube and the walls of the tank. fill just to the top line, put the tip back on, Screw the CE4 onto the charged battery, Press the button while you inhale release when your done. All the other stuff like VV MVP K100 those are devices just like what you have only upgrades to the eGo. My best advice is do a good bit of reading here on the forums on the device you have so you know all of it's functions and how to get the most out of it. anything you cant figure out just make a post and we will do our best to help.

And a really important point about those CE4's -- you need to let them sit for about 15-20 mins after filling, before you try to use them, or you will get the nastiest burnt taste. I've had 4 iClear16's sitting here since I got my iTaste vv3, and just yesterday decided to see if I could use them now that I know a little more about this stuff -- so I filled one and let it sit for a half hour -- and that thing vapes great! You just have to let the long wicks soak up lots of e-juice or the vapor you get will not taste good at all, it'll taste like smoke, something burning. Ugh.

After 27 years of smoking, I found switching to vape easier than falling asleep. But then once I found the ecf and discovered what was vape possible, I searched, found and heavily invested into vape with a quality regulated device, then tried my first re-buildable atomizer. That was the point when I knew that smoking again would never be a temptation, the flavor, nic delivery, and volume of vape that I then started to enjoy could never be replaced by a burning bush.

Since then, vape has just gotten better and better. I now look forward to investing $200 for one rba or the next must have mod. It's been almost 1 year vaping, and I am Never going back, NEVER EVER!!!!!

Vape long and Prosper!!!

I hear you Only been 5 weeks for me as of yesterday and I will never smoke again I get so much more from vaping. I have to say the cash savings on analogs is also a big Plus. I knew I was spending a lot on them each week, but when all that cash is sitting in your hand at the end of the month its damn nice. I'm gonna start making my own juice next week, I placed an order for Nicotine and flavoring and have been buying USP VG and PG for a few weeks now so I can stockpile incase our thieving, ignorant government throws a wrench in the works.

our thieving, ignorant government

You know things are bad when a Marine calls his gov't thieving and ignorant... ;)

And BTW, I concur, and I'd actually call them a lot worse than that, but the forum would just censor it. :D

Its a shame in this day in age we have no choices that aren't regulated or about to be. I'm fed up with being told I cant do what I deem better for me and forced to do something I know isn't. Our Government decides what's best for us based on how much money it generates for the government. With so many dirty politicians who are greased regularly by companies who make dangerous products its hard to even find one that will stand in your corner. Our government says sure Kill yourself but you must do it with what we say (SMOKING) we have no choice. Its always been about money it's always gonna be about money. Whats going on is cigarette co. have noticed more and more people converting to vaping, there profits are down. There complaining to filthy politicians they pay to keep in there corner. The politicians are coming up with ideas and BS to take to legislation to help the hand that's feeds them. We regular folks who have no voice anymore get it in the A$% as usual. I don't know why we even fight it anymore, we all just need to invest in .... ease to make it less painful when uncle sam comes a knockin. I'm just fed up, there was A time I'd split a guys head open for talking Crap about this country. Its a shame that so many have died to protect the rites and freedoms of the people of the US, only to die in vain because the rites and freedoms we though we had, are a smoke and mirror illusion. There are so many drugs available that would cure things like cancer but the FDA doesn't approve them. WHY? because they make more money selling crap that doesn't work. The way I see it its called Population control. Welcome to the USA By the government for the government and F^%$ the people that who built, defended and died for it.
OK I'm over my rant now how you doing? I have been able to go to 6Mg with no bad effects. Yesterday for some reason I had a bay full of coughing today its been good all day as well its been good since I started. Maybe it was the weather. I am feeling better and better everyday I walked the whole lake over the weekend doing some fishing. My muscles don't feel worn out on long walks anymore. I'd say I'm adjusting to vaping very well. I hope all are still doing well and are smoke free

I agree 100% with your rant. I've been becoming more and more disillusioned with the politics in Washington and Wall St since about 2007, and this is really just more of the same -- big corp trying to dictate laws that suit themselves, and to the devil with the ACTUAL VOTERS, we don't count for anything anymore, just pockets for Uncle Sugar to dip into when it suits him.

RE: the coughing: maybe pollen? I know you've been spending time outdoors with your hunting; I have no idea what the seasons are like in maryland, but we just got over the "green snow" phase of spring, yellow-green pollen about 1/32 of an inch deep on EVERYTHING. Just one more reason to be glad I'm not forced outdoors by my own habit! Thankfully it seems to be about over, the rain/wind we've had recently has blown away most of the pollen and flowers on the flowering trees, and the leaves are coming out. Of course now the grass cutting season begins, and that's what I'm allergic to, not tree pollen. :(

It's inspiring to hear all these stories of people quitting successfully. There is so much anecdotal evidence here that vaping really works. I started vaping just because it looked fun and all of a sudden I'm quitting smoking. I didn't even want to quit smoking! But I'm down to 2-4 cigarettes a day (I was a 2 pack/day smoker.) I don't know, I think I might really pull it off this time. I never made it more than a few days before. Reading your stories helps a lot.

How about venal, predatory, corrupt, and often petty. And that's just the permanent bureaucracy. As for the elected officials, we expect venal, predatory and corrupt.

It's long been axiomatic that patriotism is the first refuge of scoundrels. Well, times change, and apparently it's now "Public Health" and "The Children." This cuts across many other topics, too.

I know exactly what you mean -- after trying and failing to quit 4 times over the last 30 yrs, I had completely given up on even the wishful thinking of "maybe someday" I could quit. But we had the coldest winter in 30 yrs, and I was really damn tired of freezing outdoors just to satisfy my habit, and I'd heard of these e-cigs, so thought that might be a really good way to avoid all that freezing to death -- and after just a couple weeks of vaping, I found myself down to 5 cigs a day without even trying -- so I thought, hmm, wonder what would happen if I really did try -- what happened was I got it down to ONE a day, and then I just thought it was ridiculous to maintain a filthy, expensive cigarette habit if I only needed one a day, so why not ditch that one too! Yeah, that first smoke-free morning was a bit of a challenge, but not nearly as challenging as I had feared, and I just vaped like a mad thing and got thru it -- and it's never been that hard since. Sometimes there are cravings, but they're easily put aside and forgotten when you're vaping away and distract yourself with something fun -- like this forum! :D

A bit over 2 months smoke-free, and I'm still just completely amazed, delighted, absolutely delirious that I've finally been able to put down the coffin nails, and LEAVE THEM DOWN! It's a miracle!!! :nun:

Just over-the-moon ecstatic about quitting!

Well I'm just back from my Doctor you were rite Andrea, little bit of pollen had me coughing. My doctor said my lungs sound nice a clear and not like I'm breathing under water as usual. That to me is a WIN, clear fluid free breathing is something I haven't done for a long time. To celebrate I'll buy my Grandson something nice. I used to drink, but found I'm allergic to drinking as every time I do it I tend to break out in handcuffs.

I'm happy to hear others are quitting smoking. I want to thank all who have posted there kinds words for this post. I am just trying to help as many folks as I can to cope with the withdraws. I had the hardest time quitting for so long, trying everything available and failing over and over again I had all but given up. Vaping has been a godsend. If I were running this country I'd use the budget to send every single smoker in America a vaping device.

There are gonna be a few rough patches and sometimes your device may fail to satisfy your cravings, when that happens to me I use a hard lung hit to get through that, from that I also end up with a good throat hit, what I do is breath in the vapor directly into my lungs and I do it for an entire inhale, Joe

This is the part of your post I like the most even though it's gonna be uncomfotjble. What you said almost sounds like actually smoking and getting an internal hit. Gonna try it out.

Some folks find it hard to lung inhale. I being a mouth to lung inhaler for smoking analogs, I have always lung inhaled the sweet leaf(Mary Jane) for younger folks. I had no issues doing it until I tried deep lung hits from RDA's to make some big clouds. I had to break into that a bit and still cant do it to full deep lung, its just to much vapor for my tired old wind bags. Take in what you can deep as you can and hold it there a second before expelling it. For me it felt like that first morning stretch where you take that deep breath, and the nice throat hit was a bonus.

ROFL!!! A friend of ours had a t-shirt that described both me and my husband perfectly: "instant a$$h0le, just add alcohol."

I thought of the pollen because when that green stuff was laying everywhere here, my coughing-up seemed to increase, and since I'd already gotten rid of most of the smoker's junk, I figured it was the pollen causing it -- it's eased off now, and actually I find I'm using less decongestant meds than I was, so I think my sinuses are starting to finally clear out too.

Its a shame in this day in age we have no choices that aren't regulated or about to be.

I want some regulation.

I want standards, I'm going to be inhaling this stuff & while it's nice to know that some of you guys have been inhaling on this stuff for 8 years with no side effects, but I'd like a little more assurance.

Sorry.

I also want tamper proof seals. I want to be assured that no one opened my bottle of eJuice & did something twisted to it before it got to my door.

I'm shocked that this market is as mature as it is, and we're mailing this stuff across the country, around the world in some cases & sealed bags or boxes or tamper proof caps are not standard.
