For those of us that have high blood pressure , and we vape which of course is sooooo much better than smoking,as we know, how do u moderate your vaping? Do you watch how much you vape per day? I'm asking because I'm vaping 18 mgs and up until yesterday I was chain vaping and not realizing the anxiety and heart rate problems sit was causing. So basically, I need to cut down from chain vaping and would love to know what you all do....
Thanks!:vapor:

I've found that vaping doesn't make my blood pressure worse and I chain vape throughout the day, however smoking cigarettes definitely did. The amount of nicotine we inhale is a lot less than the nicotine and other chemicals in cigarettes.

The only possible ingredient that may affect your blood pressure is the nicotine, try vaping a lower amount eliquid. BP is affected by other things as well including genetics, just because you vape doesn't mean it will "cure" it.

Well I was diagnosed with high BP a few years ago. Took different medicines for more than a year. Didn't change the BP much just supplied me with lots of side effects. So I threw the meds out & started studying about BP.

Docs were saying if its over 130 you're gonna DIE!! I claim BS. Years ago, your age + 100 was an acceptable BP. My take on it is pharma wants to sell meds.

So now I vape & swim laps 2-3 times a week.
My BP averages 130-145/60-70.
I'm 64 y/o. No meds.

Vaping 2-3 ml/day @ 24 mg.

At age 23 I was diagnosed with dilated cardio myopathy. I had ignored it till the point I was swollen and hacking up blood. I was told I needed to be on the heart transplant list. Two years later my heart had somehow shrunk and my EF was back to 64% (a small miracle by my drs explanation). I have been and will likely always be on alpha and beta blockers. I have noticed that since I started vaping my BP is LOWWWW, I get dizzy when I spring to my feet. Checked it the other day and it was 98 over 60. Going back to the ole heart dr and hopefully can discuss cutting my dose or getting off it sometime

18mg of nic is pretty high. I think that's what they say is comparable to what you get from analogs. I could be wrong.
I went down to 6mg and even zero, but went back up to 11mg because the lower nic juices just seemed lacking in TH and vapor.
I power vape all day long and usually go through 10ml of juice per day at least. I did just switch to Quantum Vapor, who sell all-natural/organic juices with no coloring or added chemicals. Their flavors are absolutely delicious!

The best of health to you!

I chain vape nearly all day long (on 3 and 6mg liqs mind you), take my 20mg of Losartan every morning as directed and my BP hasn't been better than at any other point in my life (including when I was fit and active in high school).

To the OP you should definitely try weaning yourself a little. Maybe try dropping to a 12mg liq for a few days and see if you still are satisfied with the nic level and go from there.

Prior to vaping, I was on a mild BP medication. Within several months of vaping, my BP dropped 15 points, both systolic & diastolic. My O2 absorption level went from 92 to 98, now at 99. No mo BP meds fer moi!

Five years ago, I had evidence of emphysema. My last chest x-ray, a couple of months ago, was normal (non-smoker) for my age (67).
