Hi everyone, this is my first thread, and I'm on my phone so my apologies in advance if this looks wonky.
anyway I realize this has probably been mentioned before, but if your on a budget and looking for a big battery mechanical mod. Mountian Vapor has 18350 and 18650 tube mods for $15 and $17 respectively. Yeah that's not a typo.
They both come in kits too with two batteries and a tank for about $33, I'm not a fan of the tank, but if you buy the mod alone you can add the batteries and a charger and end up about the same price, or you can add the charger for $8 or $10 I think, so yes you can have a complete kit really cheap. I bought one simply because the mod was $17, how could you "not" buy it for that price. I've seen basically the exact same type mods going for $40 alone.
If your interested in the tube only you need to search for the batteries. They only list them as kits. Search for the 18650 and the tube comes up. It's vented. And fairly solid. No aluminum. And the button is nice enough. Just thought I'd share. Even though I'm sure this info isn't new.

For more information, the mentioned mods are called Squire tube mod. Comes in regular 18350 size and XL 18650.

A good pick for a first unregulated big battery mod. I own the 18350 and it fits comfy in my hand, very stealth.

Although, fair warning, with the IGO-L on top it looks like a metal male genital.

Hope you don't get envious I got the big one.
And one more thing. If you get a flared ego skirt like the ones we all use to clean up the look, if you get one that's threaded all the way through you can screw it on upside down and makes the mod look more along the lines of the ego tube, great for mini tanks and dripping attys. And always good idea to run a drop in fuse.

Wahahahahaha

I own 6 types of cones for eGos but never saw one threaded all the way. You got a picture? Im using a flared cone that looks ok with the IGO, but no so good with the Squires large base.

Sorry. Should have said flared "skirt" adapter, you know, the flared ones designed to cover the ego cone threads if your just using the 510 connection.

I checked out the "squire" tube mods you mentioned. And from what I saw in the pics and the description the "squire" does not have ego cone threads. Just the 510 connection. The ones from mountain vapor have both, 510 and ego cone threads. And still cheaper from MV

Yes, i know the flared skirt. But i cant thread it upside down. Curious as to how you would do that. That was what i had in mind before buying this actually. Didnt work.

My Squire has eGo threading. It doesnt say it but its there.

I am also very curious about where to find a fully threaded ego thread cover.
