Is this a great forum or what? You've got great info and suggestions for dealing with your situation , even though you were pretty blatantly spamming for post count and ignoring forum rules.

No need to PM anybody your cell phone number- there are too many people in your situation for us to check them all out.

Ordinarily I might delete this thread, as it's 90% post count spam, but you've received replies that I think you (and others) may benefit from, so I'd hate to do that.

I've merged and edited your posts, trying to make them less of a waste of space. Please use some restraint in the future. It's a better forum if we don't have to spend all our time cleaning up after you.

While I appreciate your "all the best" sentiment, giving someone an infraction for attempting to achieve your forum's arbitrary post count rules is a dip .... move. Ban me if you want, but seriously, it's like a 3rd grade quiet game around here.

I have 1 reason to want to use this forum, and I can't use the forum for what I want because I don't have an arbitrary post count number, and I can't get that post count number without getting an infraction from an admin, who, by the way, said absolutely NOTHING helpful towards my actual problem.

Good job. I guess you might as well jut ban me, since I can't access the parts of the forum I want to access, and the guys who run the place would rather abuse their arbitrary power than make a helpful suggestion.

Ok, you're rather new here so I'm going to take your post as being comments out of ignorance. First thing I request you do is read this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ember-explained-more-detail-faq-included.html.

The 20 post rule is a fairly simple concept. It's not for new members to come in posting spam or nonsense post, it's meant to have new members come in and join into discussions with the rest of the membership, you know, invest some time on the forum before entering into transactions with other members. So when someone comes in posting a bunch of nonsense just to build their post count up, yeah, it raises a red flag. The requirement for becoming verified doesn't express this but we mean for the 20 post to be something other than "Hey, post # whatever". So although you may not agree with the requirement, you still must abide by it because the requirement was created by a cooperative between the staff and regular members that have the experience to make these judgement calls. If you read the above link I provided, it will provide more than enough justification for the requirements we established. If your only purpose to be on the forum is to use the Classified section and you have nothing useful to contribute to the forum, you might consider finding some other forum that doesn't have protection in place like the Verified Member process.

The staff is open to discussion about matters but not criticism, especially publicly. Many of us staff members spend many hours a day and usually 7 days a week here on the forum and will not accept public criticism. If you feel the need to discuss something such as this or any other matter, it's be best discussed through private messages.

Now, your invitation to ban you is a request we do not take lightly. If you are willing to have your account banned because you feel our requirements are unreasonable, then so be it. All you have to do is post it to confirm this is your wish or you may also PM any member of staff but keep in mind this decision should be your final decision because once it's done, there's no return.

So the choice is yours, you can become a productive member of the community and enjoy great members we have and the amenities the forum has to offer or you can request your account be banned.

Personally I would have just banned you and sent you to the Vapers Forum classifieds. They would have fun with you there.

Just my . I have no problem with the Becoming Verified rules as they were installed to help protect members. Previously I witnessed all sorts of people getting ripped off and the choice eventually was to either close the Classies or setup some guidelines. I believe ECF Admin, Mods and Members made the right choice and I support them 100%.
