I'm a new vapor myself, started a couple months ago with a 7eleven throw away ecig and that helped me kick a 25yr habit. I started looking on the web and didn't realize how big the ecig thing was. I came across a site for Volcano ecigs and bought their Inferno and once I took my 1st pull off it with some ejuice from Pinkspot I was hooked.. Then a week later I got the Magma ecig which is kind of the reverse why of doing it but I really enjoy that one when I want to sample different juices or when I'm out of the house for a short period of time the Magma is in my pocket.. Last night 3 weeks after I ordered my first PV from Volcano I ordered the Lava Tube.. I think im an addict... lol Its all good.. So for new people who want to try a very nice starter kit with a company that is very helpful with very fast shipping. You cant go wrong..

The I started off using the V2 then upgraded to the Inferno.. Love that thing! Then I saw the Magma set and thought how cool it looked with the MPac (charging case) that held all that I needed.. I had the V2 charging case but it only held 1 extra battery and 2 cartomizer and those type of cartomizer I didn't like and the Magma has small tanks with a atty.. So I sold the V2 to a friend (got him to quit the stinky) and bought the Magma. My idea was to leave the Inferno home and take the Magma to work.. Im in construction and the Inferno was to big for me to carry at least that's what I was thinking at the time.. Changed my mind. Now I bring the Inferno to work with a full tank and the bigger battery and that lasts me all day, when I'm home relaxing ill fill up all 5 Magma tanks and pull on different juice.. And I must say that the Magma hits like a champ.. Just as good if not better than the Inferno.. And you taste the flavor a lot more. I'm now so into vaping that last night I ordered the LavaTube.. I'm an addict what can I say but at least not hooked on the stinky any more.. So for you other nooby vapers as others will tell you and if you stick with vaping you too will also have more then 1 PV.. I suggest the top 3 out of the 4 that Volcano has.. They are great for the price and the customer service is awesome and you'll have your stuff from them with in 3-4 days tops.. I like them.. Going to take a break from buying mods right now but I'm sure by summer ill have a few more.. Do research and read these forums... great info here

Good for you Drak!! Wow Provari!! NICE
I wanted to say something else to the noobs just starting out. There is a learning curve to proper vaping. Trial and error. When you upgrade from a egig that you buy at Walgreens or where ever then make the jump to a mod there are little things you will learn and need to know to make vaping a much better experience.. After I ordered my Inferno I realized that I am going to go through tank cartos fast. The way I vape I go through a carto once a week. So order a bunch.. Another thing I learned on my own but did read about later was making your own modification's to some of you gear. For example the cartomizer in the Volcano tank has a small hole that sucks in the juice to keep the wick wet. The one type of e liquid I had was a little thick and it wasn't getting in that hole very well and that caused the inside to burn a little so I went to Home depot and bought a small hole punch used for tapping small holes in tubing.. I now tap out the factory hole bigger and put another on the other side.. Now it works like a champ.. Its little things like this that once you figure it out you'll be in total vape heaven.. Read the forums and watch YouTube videos and youll learn something new in vaping every day.

This is the kit I am considering to start with.
LavaTube Variable Voltage Kit

Does it seem ok to start with and what else would you order with it. I know I will need juice, anything else to get started? Or am I diving into the deep end to fast?

I just ordered that yesterday.. Will be here on Tuesday... Order the Tank and a box of cartos.. They sell 1.5 dual coil and 3.0 cartos.. For the LT you want the 3.0 carts... Also you can check out other sites to get goodies for it.. It has a 510 connection so most tanks, cartos and attys that have a 510 connection will fit..

Congrats on quitting EagleGreen & welcome to ECF! :)

I started out with the Joyetech 510T. Got bored of refilling the tiny tank and found it a little hard to draw on without the battery burning hot.

Upgraded to an Joyetech Ego C kit with stardust clearomizer and loved it! No more cleaning clogged atomisers. The stardust doesn't leak, you just put in your juice and puff away. Yay!

Just upgraded to Ego C twist. Loving the vape at 4.0 voltage.

My advice to newbies - Get a Joyetech Ego C kit with clearomizers. Easy to fill, easy to clean. No need for fiddly atomizers and cartridges. Half the price of the Provari :)

I am brand new to the world of e-cigs, and completely lost. I'm off what you folks call the stink (or analogs, which I really like) because vaping is more satisfying to me. I'll be lurking here a while and watching more youtube vids to try and catch up.

See you around the forums, after I learn some more ...

I totally hear where you're coming from.. I spent hours watching reviews and reading every thing you can read about vaping. The conclusion I came up with is that all these ecigs are pretty much the same. The battery's and housing units are made in the same factory just stamped with a different vendors name. I'm a Volcano guy because I like their website, fast delivery, warranty, customer service and when ever I had a question I popped on their forums and asked and someone from Volcano helped me. But like said in other posts and type of Ego setup is great for a noob.. I have the Inferno that's their Ego battery set up and I'm puffing away on it now.. Good luck and happy vaping!

Congratulations on quitting the 'stinkies' xsphat and welcome to ECF! :)

I'll give you the same recommendation I give everybody, because this is what worked for me...I'm a former 510 system user. (Well, I'm a former every vaping system available user.... :)

My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

IF you're SICK of messin' with inconsistent Atomizers and all the of tasteless 510 & eGo vapors, then this system WILL please you.

* Cost - $59.95 for complete two eCig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos or (three) pre-filled Go-Tanks: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Go-Carts - (Go-Carts hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Carts are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the Go-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Go-Carts when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

Wishing you the best of Luck.... hope you find your Vaping Nirvana as I did :vapor:

"If it ain't a Go-go, it's a no-go" ;)
