I run my Kayfuns at 1.0 Ohms. Basically an 8 wrap nano coil. I find that the small size of the coil makes up for the higher ohm reading.

The Russian is not capable of delivering the flavor and vapor production of your rda. The only kayfun style tank that will come close, in my experience, is the Orchid.

I agree with this... but if the Russian is kickin' your ...., the Orchid is gonna drag you through all 9 circles of Dante's Hell.... especially if you try to dual coil it...
I have the Orchid V2... dual coils at about .5 ohm total... I used 28g Kanthal for the build and rayon for the wicks... it has a bit more airflow than kayfun/russian, but still restricted as compared to any of my RDAs...

You have to compare apples to apples. When you were building 1.6-1.9Ω for a Kayfun, I doubt you were using 26ga wire on a mech like the OP wants to use.

I use 26g on my Russian at .9 ohm..runs good on my mech..[emoji4]
