Hi, I'm Pam! .. I hope this helps. Being a total noob it sure helped me!!! I was not given instructions nor told what items where sold to me. My battery read Smok on the bottom and my tank reads ViVi Nova 2.8.

I'm so knowledgeable, all I knew was 1) put juice in and 2) suck the vape out!! lol .. I never cleaned my tank and always had it in a lay down position. Anyhow, 3 days after I started vaping, my ViVI Nova quit working. I panicked for fear I would be forced to smoke again. At first, I thought my battery died cuz it didn't blink 3 times after clicking the button 5 consecutive times, but the light was green. I had 2 other batteries and all did the same thing. Luckily, I was given a 2nd tank and was so grateful it worked. I hunted for 2 days and finally found this video. (I can't figure out my own tv changer half the time, never-less do this on my own). The video was so user friendly, even I was able to take my ViVi Nova apart and re-due the coil thingy. Bang! I'm vaping again! LOL :)

I thought I'd share the link in case your new and this happens to you. :p

If any anyone knows of a better way or has knowledge of possible problems which could put someone like me into panic mode, I'd sure appreciate your input. Thanky!! Thanky!! :)

Excellent video:) I'm almost exclusively using ViVi Nova's now. I have several with "Boo-Coo" extra heads:) Rotate them regularly as juice does darken and tastse burnt after a few tankfuls, depending on the juice.:2c:

Thanks Pam. I also LOVE that video and am a PB groupie  The Vision Vivi...prolly one of the greatest vaping innovations in the last year IMHO. Washing cleans the tank and wick while dry burning cleans the cooked gunk on the coil- After dry burning I also rinse the ash off. Been using the Vision Vivi for 6+ months and lovin' it :D

My battery read Smok on the bottom and my tank reads ViVi Nova 2.8.
If it's the eGo style/ class Smok PV it fires at 3.7 volts. It's a good one. As for the ohms on your Vivi 2.8 is a little high. 1.8 ohms for a warm vape and 2.4 for a cool vape.
Cheers.

YAY! Thank you for all the responses!! Being new, I know about hmm ZIP when it comes to vaping. Except, of course, to juice and inhale. haha ... I'm still trying to understand ohms and voltage, etc. My battery doesn't allow for me to change anything, just twist the tank on and push the button. haha OMG! I'm such a noob, but one day I won't be. lol .. I would like to learn more about voltage to get a better battery and was even checking out the pass through. So many to choose from, it can be confusing. I do love my ViVi Nova tank though! :)

Glad you got it working. Every week or so I will take mine apart and wash everything out and let it dry. I have more heads so I will put the bottom post on my battery, pull off the silicone (white rubber piece) off the coil top and install it on my battery, dry burn the coil while making sure the coil burns orange using 5 sec on and off cycles, then I replace the silicone cap install the tank, refill with juice. Good as new. hope this helps

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. By quitting smoking I'm sure you're making him VERY proud. My Mom quit smoking but still ended up with respiratory issues. You seem to be one of those that are so very appreciative and I'm VERY glad to help. Really I'm just passing on what was given to me by Vets here @ ECF and I see you're already giving back
You take care, good luck with the appointment and give your Dad a big hug from us.
P.S. LOVE your nick- Reach4theStars

I'm always thankful to those who are friendly and helpful. People don't have to help and many don't. Those that do, help because they have a good heart. I not only appreciate their kindness, but I respect the time and effort they gave up, to help another. Also, thank you for the warmth. My father is a fighter!! I don't know who is more proud, me of him, or him of me. haha I'm not sure how he has made it this far. He is 71yrs old with severe diabetes, prostate cancer, kidney failure, respiratory failure and heart failure. He just had a pace maker put in a week ago. Oh, did I mention "grumpy syndrome" as well. LOL No matter how bad things get, he tries to put a smile on his face, then sits up at his computer emailing everyone jokes. Reach For The Stars!!!!!! You can never fail, as long as you keep reaching and keep smiling!! :rules: .... Dang I'm lovin these funny icons!!!! haha
