Ah feel your pain.

Keep a few extras in my computer case - untouched. Can't forget the case, so I always have a stash with me. Maybe an emergency kit in your purse, tote bag or glove box?

The juice must flow (who said that here anyway - I wasn't the first, but I like it).
Totally agree. Good idea to have a bottle in the glove box, trunk, in general in the car at all times. Keeping a bottle in a purse or (for guys) a small vial or small plastic pouch at least 5-10 drops in the corner of your wallet would be a good peace of mind thing to do.

I wasn't trying to put it down. I really liked that above case/set up, and am jealous of it!

being a fairly new, fairly poor vaper, I'm looking forward to being able to grow my e-cig accesories/spares...over a series of paychecks. ;)

(right now i have two working batteries, an extra atty, and two bottles of liquid, and one sample size liquid.)

usb case is a good idea, btw.

FIRST time since I've been vaping, too, I let myself go to work with an almost dry cart, and no extra liquid to top it off. (monday mornings, ugh.)

Realizing this at the beginning of my shift, I tried to vape sparingly, but a las, halfway through my shift the taste was so burnt that I was afraid if I tried to get anything else outta my cart, I'd probaby destroy the atty.

So, I figured I'd wait until my shift was over. 8-4, with only four hours to go, and I figured I'd be able to hold off.

Then, alas, one of my clients I work with (I work direct care for people with mental health issues) had a "crisis" sending her to the hospital and me with three and a half hours of overtime.

Needless to say, I caved in, and had an analog, or three. I could only smoke half, then throw it out, because it was gross, but it seemed like every extra hour I was there, I felt I needed to puff on SOMETHING.

Maybe it's just placebo, but it feels like my lungs hurt.

Note to self, dont make this mistake again.

It is so not just you...I smoked a cig a while back with a friend and my lung and throat burned and felt burnt for a few days. Only now do I realize what I ahve been doing to my self for so long. Vaping is smooth and never makes my chest hurt the next day, smoking on the other hand..........

Indy your mobile vaping station is bloody amazing. Kudos to you my friend, kudos.

I've had batteries die on my on several occasions.. but after watching azrienoch's video on youtube titled "how e cigarettes feel," I have completely adopted the whole "im not vaping to quit smoking, im vaping to smoke indoors" motto... so i dont feel guilty of 'caving in' if i dont have a spare battery on hand.

Also, USB passthru's are a gift from the various gods of various religions!!! Use em in your car, your pc... anywhere!!!

Oh and @Bonnie, at work, do you find it odd vaping? like.. i have a 401 and cut my liquidwith VG... needless to say it produces a crap load of vapour... I feel a little embarrassed having my cubicle wafting with vapour to any onlooker who passes by.. how do you manage?

I actually still go outside to vape at work. (heh, laugh all ya want, but its habit, and the people I care for at work don't really have the ability to fully understand the difference between the e-cig and a regular cigarette, so i kinda just join them on their smoke breaks outside)
Otherwise, If everyones asleep at the house i work with, and I'm sitting around doing paperwork, I'll pull it out. I've also vaped in the bathroom on rare occasions.

Oops! I didn't take your comment to be sarcastically negative in the first place, I interpreted it as genuinely complimentary, as you have confirmed. :)

I didn't think you were trying to put the little case down; when I wrote my comments, it wasn't intended to be in response to what you had said, just an independent addition to the thread... I should put more emoticons in my emails to avoid misinterpretation, I guess, or something ;)

I see you joined recently; welcome to the forums! I haven't been vaping long, and this has been the greatest resource and help to me... Any question I ask, someone has a meaningful response, people are generally polite, and there is a great sense of community here! I don't feel like I'm the only person using/benefitting from an eCig.

This is a very helpful thread.

I've been carrying one complete 510 + PCC and often an extra bottle of juice.

I always kept a pack of smokes in the car. If I needed to open them I drove right to the gas station to buy more. This prevents the "oops I just smoked the last one" effect.

I think I should use the same idea with PVs. Maybe get a complete PCC setup + Car usb cable and leave it in the car.

Anyone know the freezing temp of juice? Maybe i'll go put a cart in the freezer and find out. :D

Well, people, including me, keep vodka in the freezer. And I also keep BarenJager (35% Alcohol) in there. A 20% Alcohol cream liquor my wife wanted to put in there turned slushy but not frozen solid. We moved it to the fridge.

the upshot is, just for a small container in your car, maybe put about 25% PGA (Everclear, Gemclear, etc.) in it if it's legal to purchase where you live. That should at least keep it from freezing solid.
I make most of my juice and everything I make I put about 25% PGA in it already.

Also, check out the physical properties of glycerin (glycerol) and Propylene Glycol:
Glycerol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Propylene glycol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's a bit complicated, but apparently when mixed with water their freezing point drops significantly below the freezing point of water, so it's possible that something like regular Dekang juice, which I think might have some distilled water in it, won't freeze easily. Of course if it doesn't have water already, you can add a little (distilled) and mix it up good to get the effect.

I say get a freezer thermometer, put a little juice in the freezer with it (not in a glass container, freezing expansion could shatter the container), and keep turning up the freezer/fridge (lowering the temp) until you max out or the stuff goes slushy or solid. Then post your findings along with the type of juice or its components. I think many people would be interested in the findings.

I keep extra juice and every possible extra supply (batts, attys, passthru, etc.) in my desk drawer at work. Another thing I keep is some nic gum in case all else fails. I would just die if I didn't have something else to fall back on besides analogs! So sorry this happened to you. The nic gum is expensive but buy a small package of it and keep it in your car and more at your place of employment. It's not the same as vaping but it will get you through!

Hey what's up with the avatars tonight? I seem to have lost mine and I see a lot of others are missing too. Some are still showing up, or I might think it had something to do with some kind of security change on my computer. Can anyone see my avatar? All I see is the wording "Stormee's Avatar" and a red X.

Just be glad you didn't believe that the vaping wouldn't catch on too well or that it wouldn't be gone very soon going only a few drops at a time then eek your last two drops into the cartridge when you know you just cleaned your only atty that will have to be primed, while you are sitting at a computer staring at a receipt for an order from China that isn't even placed until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, knowing full well that even if the order is shipped you've got a holiday and a Sunday before it even thinks about making its way anywhere near you.
I don't know who did that, but I bet they don't feel very smart about it right now.
There's more to the story in the BEHOLD nicotine extraction thread that I have open in another tab but had to do a little browsing before submitting the post because it has a url and I'm only on post 14.

I keep a few pieces of Nicorette in my desk at work, in my backpack that I carry to work, and in my car. I also keep a pack of 5 carts in my backpack. I like to use the gum rather than revert to a backup pack of analogs.

As for batteries and atomizers, I use a Blu/Volcano-type, so I have the PCC with me at all times, which I never forget because it's like a pack of smokes, and I NEVER left home without those! I keep a few filled carts and an extra atomizer in the PCC. So far, I've not been left high and dry yet.
