Does anyone else not freak out when they forget their PV?

I guess you weren't really asking me, but I'd have to say that I doubt it very much. They just don't appeal to me any more, to say the least.

i have some friends that still smoke. once in a while i take a drag off of one of their analogs and i feel disgusted afterwards. that's for sure.

hypothetical question: if you had no pv and there was no way to get one for days, would you buy a pack of sigarettes?

Probably weren't asking me either, but I'd probably buy some nicorette gum to see me though.

I could go hours without vaping on errands etc., but I always need to have it with me for the slim chance I get in an accident or pulled over.

I find vaping to be a lot less stress full habit than smoking was. If I left home without my smokes, I stopped at the nearest convenience store to get some even if it made me late for work. I've left home without a PV quite a few times. I just don't worry about it so much and know I can just pick it up at lunch. -- With cigarettes, I started to have mild stress just knowing I was down to 4 or 5 left in my pack. Vaping just isn't like that for me. It's just plain less stressful.

When I was smoking, the first thing I did every day was have a cigarette.
And when I say first thing I mean first thing, every single day, for well over 25 years.

And if anyone tried to stop me from having a cigarette first thing in the morning...
Well, let's just say they would be doing so at their own risk.
:)

Nowadays I often don't even start vaping until the afternoon.
There is no way in hell that EVER would have happened with cigarettes.

i didn't even think about nicorette, because it never worked for me when i was trying to quit smoking. that would be a good idea though. i bet it would work a lot better to help you through til your next vape then a cigarette anyway.

I don't know how you do that DC2? My PV sits right next to my bed on the nightstand. It's the first thing I reach for when I get up........even before shutting the alarm clock off!:)

For me, that first cup of coffee has always come first...though when I was smoking the cigarette didn't come long after the coffee hit the mug. I can hold off vaping a bit on the morning, and try to consciously do so just to kind of make the habit of hand to mouth be less of a necessary, constant thing. I'm not really winning that battle, but vapor > smoke.

I am the opposite. If I had forgotten my analogs, I know there is a store some where in my near future. Leaving without my PV, hard to find a place to pick up.

I immediately noticed....as soon as after 2 days of just vaping, that I didn't have that crazed 'NEED a smoke' feeling anymore....I can kinda take it or leave it now.....well....to a point. Lol I'm still addicted to the nicotine, but it definitely doesn't have the same grip on me.

Sitting down in front of a computer and a steering wheel in my hands were my strongest triggers. I broke the former when moving into the new house....garage and outside smoking only. Steering wheel still invokes monster craving but I'm good for an hour or two without maniacally swerving into the first convenience store for a pack of smokes. I try to stick the PV in my shirt pocket before leaving the house but, if I forget....usually no big deal.

Then again, I often vape myself plumb silly and go for an hour or two without thought of it.
