Just got back into vaping and would love to meet up! Ill try to be there. I work at GM in Roanoke so I'm not sure if that Saturday will work. Hope to be there!

SOOOOO excited for this meet!!!! Was begining to think i was the ONLY vaper in the fort!! Will be there for sure!!!

Actually I talked to Jedi a while back and I have been trying to set a meet up out here for quite some time but have been unsuccessful in finding a venue that would take us, never even thought about WRigley! So glad someone did!! And.... if all goes as planned... Vapor Trail is sending a package for the meet with juice and also tshirts

I'm really glad Holbie did the leg work for this meet. I know there are a number of vapers in Ft. Wayne, but they are not real active on the text-social forums typically.

Hey guys and gals! It was cool to meet you all Saturday. I had a great time. I had to gasp when I walked in. Virtually everyone in the restaraunt was vaping under little clouds. Little blinking LED's every now and then. I got to put my hands on some beutiful Mods. Some I have been researching, and some I never knew existed.
There was an older fella there with 8, or 9 mods on a display rack. All filled with different juice to try. I especially like the bobas bounty. It is what it's cracked up to be! A buddy of mine who is big on cigars tried it, and said it's better than any fine cigar he has ever had. He is still not converterted, but he said he enjoyed vaping some of the different flavors. More than that tho, this guy with the display rack was very informative, and he was cool to hang out with, and talk shop. I think his name was Sammy? or Steve? Nice guy.
It was fun, and wish I could have stayed for more of the raffles. I did get a chance to leave with a pocket full of freebie juice, and some business cards. I brought a dripper to try the juices getting handed around too. Hoosier was real helpful in that catagory, but we didn't get to talk much. Between him, and the other guy running it, I felt like a midget! I think there were times you couldnt see the top of their heads up there in the clouds lol. Just kidding. Anyway, being from out of town everybody was real welcoming, and I would do it again.

I discovered Wikked doesn't look exactly like her avatar and doesn't insist on sitting atop a giant purple skull either.
Is Paul tall? He looks kinda' short to me...
A couple of B&M owners there were talking about hosting meets at their places. Hopefully they find some dates they like and the club can pass the info along. One was from Fort Wayne, so speg might have a chance to make another one and since I won't have any host duties, I should be a bit freer to talk?
As a side note, Cravin' Vapes gave us some starter kits with the provision that if a smoker was willing to give their current cigarettes to the Hoosier Vapers club, we could give the smokers the kits in exchange. We gathered 3 partial packs of cigarettes and gave away 3 of those starter kits plus a wide selection of juice from the sample table, and other places, to those smokers interested in switching to vaping.
And...Holbie made his first DIY juice while at the meet. A strawberry jolly rancher-ish flavored vape.
I haven't even had time to download any pictures to the club's Facebook site... Been spending too much non-working time trying to get ready to haul the whole famn damily to Gen Con in a few days...

Had an awesome time, and I was very surprised to see the turnout! Ton of awesome people, and huge shout out to Shawn at Cravin Vapes. He's a super nice guy, and I won the first vv ego with the LCD from them in the raffle, and I screwed up the charging on that, and they are fixing it for free. Their store is awesome for only being there for a couple weeks, they have some dang good juice and I can't wait to spread the word at work about them. Also got to meet a few guys named Dan(I think, my memory is awful, but he was a big Grim Green fan, nice guy) Parker, and another one of their friends who I am completely his name, if you guys read this and I messed up your names, I'm sorry! Also, I think the older gentleman was named Scott, although I'm not entirely sure. Anyways, awesome meet, can't wait for the next!

Yeah, I do notice that most folks are short. Figured it was because they didn't spend their summers helping their grandfather farm like I did or somesuch. Grandmother always said that fresh air and fresh food was the best way to make a boy grow.
Yeah, my name is Scott, and I had a swell time at the vape meet! Super nice group, and a lot of them, too ... I hope this will be the first of many regular meets for vapers in the Fort Wayne area. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but I had a long-standing family obligation. Don't you just hate it when real life gets in the way of your vaping?
Glad you made it for as long as you did Scott. It's obvious that you made a good impression on many a vaper.

nice to have a b&m in town. Tho I'm pretty much set up n happy as I sit. But I'm sure there are many more ppl that can be converted by just being able to see the items in person and even try the flavors at the vape bar. Good ppl there as wellLots of fun at the meet up. It was a true pleasure hanging out with everyone. We are indeed looking to have a meetup as Hoosier stated however, we're waiting until after the holidays. Everyone is welcomed at our shop anytime to just hang out and vape and chat .
