All over the place
I used the "upload a file" feature. I didn't click "full image" for each image because there was an option that said something like "make all images full images". I clicked that. That doesn't work. I went back to my post and edited it and clicked "full image" on each image I uploaded and that worked. View attachment 462251 What's really strange is that all my images in Tapatalk showed full images before I edited the post.

Okay. But I was wondering like where are the pics located on your computer? Desktop or some pic-saving site like photobucket or imgur and not the upload a file. I used to have that weird thing happen occasionally with my pics until I began using imgur. Now I just upload from the computer to there, and then from there to here. It really is easy breezy.

I uploaded from my PC. I love that we can do that so I don't have to use an online site to transfer my pics before uploading them.

It works beautifully.
I grab the edge of the window that ECF is on and make it half the width of the screen. Bring up the place the picture is on my computer. Grab the picture and just drag and drop into the post.

Picture shows up in the post without me having to do anything else....

I wonder if you can do that in the classy though. There you have to fill out a form. I'll try next time a place an ad which should be pretty soon.

Ahahaha! Well it still gave me a thumbnail at the bottom of the post and the option to go "Full Image". But that's cool. Thanks. :)

It is really great with the new software being able to do this, but my question is about how is it being stored - are there limits? Or does ECF now have an unlimited server?
@retired1 would be the one to answer this question for you. :)

Tagged him so he will, hopefully, see this. :D

You mean on that post? Weird, I see full image not a thumbnail. Acutally, I see full images on your classifieds posts, too . . . now I'm confuzzled

You do not get a notification for each and every transaction, nor does it send a notification for each and every response to a thread. You get one notification. This does not reset until you go an read the thread. It then resets and the next new reply will cause a new notification. That's it.

The purpose for this is two fold. On a busy site like this, the software doesn't spend all its time sending out notices to everyone for each new post. It also eases the load on the mail server when sending notices to those that want email notifications as well.

I'm also having this problem. it is causing me to visit the forum less often :( I went to quite a few of my subscribed threads to see if that would help, but it did not. I will try turning everything off and then redoing it like mr. mann did, hopefully that will help. you said it will reset when I go read the thread from the email notification. does that reset it permanently? it doesn't seem to .......... sigh............

I'm also having a problem with the classifieds. I like them to be listed by thread creation time. but it will not keep the setting, I have to reset it everytime I go there. I don't like that <g> any help on that?
thanks for any help

well, with 30 new feedbacks received recently shouldn't there have been at least one notification? :?:

i expect j0ker thought it would generate individual emails to help us stay on top of the new 'quid pro quo' system

Tibs, when you go here: Error | E-Cigarette Forum

Are your settings set there for notices?

Can someone comment on this please. On post [HASHTAG]#283[/HASHTAG], Subtank RBA builds? show em! I inserted the shared BB code as has been suggested (directly into the BB editor). I can view the image but others can't (per ensuing post there).

How is that possible? How can the app permit the functionality (insert edit, display appropriately) then execute for one, then not others?

Thanks for some help.

:)

Where is the image hosted? What are the access rights at that location?
