Regarding http and https. This isn't a forum issue per se, but more of how browsers treat secure and insecure links. If you're signed in on a secure link, and click an insecure link going to the same site, the browser treats it as a "new" site and doesn't know enough to keep you logged in.
If they have the link bookmarked from before the change to the new software, it will be under the old unsecured links. I've had to remove all the old links, I had bookmarked, and replace with the new site's links.
Known issue. Not much we can do about it. It's an issue with the browser, so unless Microsoft does something to change things, it will probably remain "broken".
Two errors are popping up lately. One is a cloudflare error, which I will address later.
This is one of the two that is persistent.
I'm using Chrome.
I've done the usual drill of clearing cache and cookies.
I've also restarted Chrome, and rebooted my system.
I have disabled all extensions and plugins.
This error appears to be exclusive to Chrome. When I get the error, and open the same URL in Firefox, no problem.
And I wondered when I took this action if this was a permanent fix..... that answer just now came about. It is not. I just had the issue again, and had to do the flushing of the sockets once more.
