I started vaping only a few months ago and haven't quite managed to realize "all that money I'll save" quite yet.

I totally understand. When I first started I though "there is no way - smoking is cheaper than this" BUT, like you. Once I found the right combination of pieces and parts it all started to come together. I was paying insane shipping from what seemed like every vendor out there trying different juices after that. I found that the tobacco flavors were my thing, not the wild apple cobbler type lol !! >No offense anyone<

You will save, as long as every new device that comes out doesn't scream your name:D Theres never a better time to quit than now, but you picked a good time to start.:toast:

Yea, in the beginning I think we all lose a little bit of money searching for what we like. ALmost two years in I have found what I like and save a lot of money vs the cost of smoking. The clearomizer and a smoketec dual coil atty are the only two 'new' things I've bought just to try out. I would like to add the smoketech carto came in today, and i AM LOVING it.

My wife & son love these CE4+, however, after 2-3 weeks of use they all show signs of stress cracks around the bottom.
Once the cracks start, leaking is soon to follow.

When I first tried them, they were great with the exception of the draw. For me, it was like sucking a milkshake through a straw. I was using a lavatube with the provari ego adapter, the wife & boy both use KGO's and the draw is 'slightly' easier, but still not for me.
I prefer the CE2 deluxes and waiting to try the new CE2 ultimates. Easy draw; hotter vape, just have to do a quick mod first though.

Received my order today from the one day sale. I'm happy about that - but, it's not the same as the one I'm using (and love) now. I haven't tried the new ones yet, but the wick is very, very short and the mouthpiece is completely different. I like the flat ones, and this new one is round. It also has measurement lines along the side. I don't like that either. It looks like part of a syringe.

I wish there was some standard among naming practices. The one I have is an eGo Vision Clearomizer and the one I ordered is an eGo Vision Clearomizer, yet they are two very different things.

I hope I like these new ones because I ordered 8 of them. I am annoyed.

OK, so I tried the new ones. If you buy this version, make sure you have a needle handy - they do not have fill holes on the sides like the others. You have to slide a needle past the plastic ring on the top in order to fill them. You will also have to invert your PV very, very frequently as the wicks are short (I mean barely there short). And, as someone else said upthread, the draw is very much like sucking milkshake through a straw.

I'm not sure yet how to go about trying to clean this one. The other has holes large enough to drain the tank, fill with water, shake it around, and pour it out. It's not possible to that with this version - perhaps intentionally?

Not my cup of tea. I'm going to have to look around for the other ones.

The "new" new ones of these are different yet. They have a small "cone" shaped thingie on the top to help prevent any leakage from the tank to the mouthpiece.

I did notice a little bit of a tighter draw on ours but I'll be honest, It greatly depends on the battery being used. I have several different brands so I tried a few and pretty much all were a little different.

I always use a syringe to fill my cartos anyway. I make less of a mess that way.:)

Cleaning is actually crazy easy. I ran the wife's through hot water several times shaking and swishing it around. Then, I used compress air to dry it faster. Worked like a champ for me.

Don't give up on em just yet. They have improvements to be made but are getting close.

Thanks, Bmays. I'm going to stick with the ones I had originally. I love them. I just learned the hard way to stick with my tried and true supplier of them. It's a little more expensive, but at least there is no risk of getting a different/unexpected product!

I wonder how you managed to get water in and out of it to clean it? Did you take it apart?

My clearomizer arrived today! At first, I didn't think I would like it. I tried it and thought, uh oh, I see what they mean by drinking a milk shake through a straw! But I guess it has to prime for a few minutes, because after a few pulls on it, it came alive. I really like it! And SOOO easy to fill. It doesn't have the snap, crackle, pop of a new carto, and that kind of surprised me, but it is the design obviously.

But I think it is a great vape! We shall see if it stands up to some time though, as right now it is full.

Yeah.....We were a-waitin! Well.....I was anyway.lol I was kinda expecting the "snap crackle pop" as well. However I shoulda known, tried clearos about a year ago and quite as a mouse.

The wife is still a little effie <how the heck do you spell effie>?lol anyway, shes already gone through about 4 complete refills and NO leaks, solid vape. Truthfully, I think her being undecided is because you can actually taste your eliquid for what it is now. Not the carto stuffing juice-al la mode we are all used to.:D

RaRvn, if you dont mind. I'd kinda like to know who you were getting yours from? Maybe I need to try those so I too can have a accurate comparison.

As for cleaning, I just kinda plugged the bottom hole with my pinky and filled it up with hot running water. Shook it around a bit (several times) and then blew it dry. Better to let it set overnight and rotate rather than the "dry burn". Just my opinion, as I think the dry burns tend to scorch the wick.

Bmays, i think it is spelled "iffy" LOL!

Your wife is SO right. It makes you taste the liquid for what they really taste like, and I have been a diehard menthol vaper for a long time, but now I am thinking I need to try new juice! LOL I also can now see how much juice I am vaping, i don't know if that is a good thing or not!!! LOL

OK, the wife pretty much ditched the new toy (Vision eGo). She just did not like it. Said she got the burnt taste too often and just plain didnt like it.

Soooooo, I cleaned it and filled it for me to try since I had not tried it yet. I gotta say, I'm not all that impressed either. Granted, it was not new but I'm still not sure about it.

I ordered several from a few vendors because I was really hoping this was gonna change our world, but I'm not gonna toss em to the curb just yet. Knowing what I know this one may have just not been up to par from the get go?

We will see

Jammin...........Your thoughts after a few days??????????

I just love mine! To me, the harder pull is a plus because I get more vapor than air and I don't have to draw quite as hard and as long as I do on the other types and along with that, no juice being drawn up into my mouth. It's just like sucking on an analog which makes the experience that much closer to actually smoking. :) What I have now is 2.2 - 2.5. I really like the top atomizer because I get little bursts of sweetness on my tongue that, I think, may get lost along the path from the bottom atomizers.

I gotta say, so far I'm still liking it Bmays. I even almost keep thinking that it will all go away soon (the liking it part) due to some other posts I have read, but so far I still like it a lot.

I think you are right about that, that it seems you pull harder due to no air, and yep, no juice in the mouth! BONUS!
I also get those little bursts of sweetness you are talking about. I experienced that last night while vaping away. I have been a diehard menthol juice vaper, however, now that I have the clearomizer that seems to give such a full bodied vape I am quickly thinking about starting on some different flavors. I ordered some samplers this week. We shall see if any of them become a part time liquid for me.

Oh...I was excited until I saw that they aren't the lower resistance ones. Still a good place to go to with that shipping price! Maybe that is why you don't like them very well?? You may want to try the 2.2 - 2.5 ohms one and see if you like them any better bmays. Personally, the higher resistance atomizers in general (I haven't tried the higher ones in this clearomizer) seem to not perform as well for me. I don't know any of the specifications on battery to atomizer or anything. I have used my EgoT regular battery for all of them and the lower resistance ones seem to perform better. But, the Ego Tank atomizers at LR will die or diminish greatly in about a week and this Vision is still going strong and this is day 5. I know, not too long, but it shows no sign of slowing down. I think the 2.2 - 2.5 is the middle range for clearomizers, if I'm not mistaken.

I take that back...I guess it is the low resistance ones.

I have not seen any for sale that offer a choice of LR or SR....where do you get yours sandy?
