After examining the various pictures of the blue filler/filter people use for their carts I thought to myself "I've seen that before". Well, what I had seen was a shop-vac "R" type filter. It's the same material as the blue filter for aquariums and you can get it at most any hardware store or even Wal-Mart. I ran down to the local hardware and picked one up. Works like a charm. Mine was $4.99 plus tax, and much easier to get ahold of than the aquarium filter.
These pictures are of the filter we have here at work, which has obviously been used. I did not use this filter, I bought a new one from the store. I didn't have it with me but I only wanted to show that it is the same material. I strongly advise not to go cut up the filter in your shop-vac since it is full of all kinds of nasty stuff that you could never get out by washing. GO buy A NEW ONE!
THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL FILTER I USED, IT IS AN EXAMPLE.
