Found PG at Tractor Supply Store

Hi Fellow Vapers,

I found Propylene Glycol 1 gallon size at The Tractor Supply Store for 22.00 dollars.

Seems it is added to Cow feed to heal a sickness that cows suffer from.

It is USP grade and I did not have to order online and wait forever.

Just walked in and grabbed me a jug.

I have been experimenting with 70 percent PG and 30 vg and some Loranns Anise oil that tastes like Licorice and it is gooood---no steeping needed.

Also added some menthol for a cool taste

I went into the store and went about 3 quarters of the way back on extreme right hand side of store up against the wall and on the very bottom shelf by the pet supplys I think

the sign said cant really remember what other things were there as this was 2 weeks ago that I got my pg

I would never inhale any oils.

They must have a standard store layout, then. Not necessarily with pet supplies, but with vet supplies.

I would never inhale any oils.

The Anise flavor--says it is made with Natural Anis Oil-----where as the root beer flavor says propylene glycol and caramel and water-------Orange flavor says made with orange Oil---Don't know if the oils would hurt to inhale or not

I'm not a scientist, but I keep reading that oils are bad to vape. Maybe something to do with what happens when you "burn" oil?

One question on the Anise oil. Is it water soluble ?

Short list: Avoid diacetyl. It can cause permanent damage to the lungs. Also avoid acetyl propionyl, acetoin and "fragrance" oils.

Always though PG was for udder washing. I'm like totally surrounded by farms and know nothing, lol.

Actually, diacetyl is one of the least concerns for me. The whole stink started over 30 people getting popcorn lung (a nasty disease for sure) - all but one worked in a popcorn factory and were heavy smokers. Turns out cigs have more diacetyl in them than the average custard flavored vape juice, but no smoker has ever gotten popcorn lung. So I decided it was a non-issue.

You should make up your own mind - but do it after some research, not after what me or anyone else in a forum (or worse - propaganda to scare you away from vaping and back to cigs) tells you.

It is used to treat ketosis in dairy cows.

I've been using PG from Tractor Supply for quite a while now in my DIY.

One of my favorite eliquids right now is a veritable cornucopia of diacetyl and I just ordered my third 120ml bottle of it. I'm trying to cut back on the stuff just to be safe, but it's just too damn tasty. Lol.

Yes it is, although I buy larger sized syringes (35ml) at my local feed store.

I mix multiple 50ml bottles at a time though.

I see a trip to Tractor Supply in my near future. Any chance they sell VG? If not, where else would I look for it?
