Wow! What an amazing find! John Stossel hits the nail on the head and for the most part the other panelists see the logic. I don't watch much TV, so don't know their names, but I loved the fact that two of the others tried the e-cig and didn't get weird about it. The first lady's initial reaction was an odd look, but then she went back for more! This is a great positive mainstream piece for a change. Thanks for sharing.

Katherine Heigl & Letterman on the Late Show broke the ice
and this absolutely outstanding broadcast (to me) is a home run
and signals that we are in the "home stretch" of public acceptance
(not necessarily approval) of E-cigarettes.

Both the Heigle/Letterman and this video have (what I say) is all the
key ingredients. Well known people vaping and talking very positive
about E-cigs as well as having fun while vaping.

Sends the message load-and-clear to the public that E-cigarettes
are not only safe but an enjoyable satisfying alternative to smoking.

Great E-cig commercial
Couldn't have written a better script... Keep it light...no big deal...Safe...Fun

Well, after watching the show, I wish they could have gotten someone better than the smokestyx's guy to represent our alternative. IMO he really didn't explain it very well or point out the obvious advantages such as the main ingrediants being approved by the FDA for consumption or stressing that it is water vapor that dissipates almost immediately. And when Stossil mentioned nic gum, patches, etc, that would have been the obvious time to point out they are deemed safe by the FDA and that PV's are just a different alternative for delivering nicotine or no nicotine.

I turned to my husband and said, "Why couldn't he have interviewed someone from CASAA or Dr. Siegel??" Oh, well. At least the point was made about how stupid it is to ban e-cigarettes.

It had to be pretty intimidating and high pressure. Good for him for getting on the show and not saying anything stupid!
