Is 4inches long enough to do the L contact and the top? I haven't received mine from FT yet but that seems kind of short

You'll be cutting the 4"x2"piece into three sections length wise. Two positive lengths little less than 18mm from the outer straight edges. You lose some in the cut. I used a dremel cutting wheel. Then use the left over middle section to make the 2 negative contacts.
Be sure to smooth the edges where the battery makes contact. Slope them towards the body. Especially the positive. If that tears the wrap, you have a dead short and a battery you can't remove quickly.

FWIW gents, I've been able to manage all of my contact materials using a solid straightedge and a utility knife. As ong as you take it slow with even pressure and stay in the same score line, you'll get through in a few passes. At least far enough to be able to *snap* along the scored edge.
You don't lose material and your edge is straight & clean, only a small amount of edge buffing is really necessary.
This is 28g silver cut using this method and I've only taken the burr off the edges...

I got one of these. it's pretty much exactly what i expected from a 18 dollar mod/RDA combo lol
For the price though it works decent enough and the contacts are easy to upgrade if need be.

You'll need to replace the bottle it comes with. Some say they've had luck making them usable. They're rock hard and don't seal. Try and purchase the REAL fancy Italian bottles or super soft Italian bottles depending on who you ask, wherever you can find them. Cappy silicone bottles won't work. Others are using the soy sauce bottles but you lose 2ml capacity.
If you're handy you can make the stock 510 adjustable.

I put in a request with fasttech for spare Frankenskull 510s. Like them a lot. Nice and compact for this style mod. Would work well in the Orca.

Hey Eddie when you said slope the contacts towards the box, did you mean putting a bevel on the edges going outward towards the box?

2.5mm is my max with a mech. Clapton wire would have to be SS. Build around
.3-.5ohms dual coils. .3 single coil
